A SMALL TRICKERY
Hoover, Ellie and I, all three of us were seemingly in a bizarre condition with me being the only one with consciousness left. The trainer turned his head back to me and said, "Out of three of you, the one who is injured more is you, you should go and see the nurse."
I saw a chance to talk with Hoover and Ellie, I immediately suggested, "I think they should also see the nurse!" Pointing with my broken wrist to the string of spit coming out from unconscious Hoover's mouth.
"Hmm, it looks like the cadets of this generation are arrogant and weak beyond one's imagination!" The trainer complained while tightening his grip on the Hoover's collar.

After all of that commotion, we were finally shifted to the treatment ward of cadets on the first floor. We were lucky as we were the only people present in the ward. The nurse put some kind of ointment on me and injected me with some shiny liquid which appeared to be silver in colour. I am guessing it is a healing potion of some kind as they didn't use plaster or anything like that to treat my broken wrist and were not very shocked to see it.
I was the only one conscious, so only I saw how they treated us. It took the nurse only some minutes to treat all three of us despite her old age. She suggested me to sleep and get some rest.
"Hey, hey! Wake up, answer me! I know you guys are acting!" I said when it had been five minutes since the nurse left the room.
"Tell me, whose plan was this? I inquired from both of my friends who were still acting like they were in a deep slumber.
"It was her idea!" Hoover mumbled with his closed mouth.
"You can talk normally now, there is nobody in here." I said to hoover who was looking at everything with one eye closed.
"It was my idea to get a chance to have a private talk!" Ellie also mumbled with one of her eyes closed.
"I just told both of you we can talk normally!"
"It is good that all three of us are in the same ward, Ellie might have been sent to a different ward!" Hoover exclaimed with relief.
"I don't think so, I think only the dorms of girls and boys are different other than that we do everything together, even training." I gave my opinion.
I was thinking about how to get a chance to talk with them privately too, but it is good that Ellie cooked up this scheme.
Ellie's plan was simple, she wanted to create a scenario where all three of us were injured in a same place at same time, so we must be treated at the same time. She made this plan considering that we were all being treated at a same place yesterday, and if we are practicing together, we might be treated together as well. She told Hoover about this plan in the training after he stopped crying in sadness for having no friend in this world.

That is the reason why he suggested Auri to train with him in the first place. It would seem normal to the others as well, as in their eyes two sworn enemies just hurt each other badly and the other enemy whose gaze was set on them get knocked out.

"But Ellie were you sure it would've worked out hundred percent!? What if Hoover had inflicted the injury on me but they had taken us to nurse office separately?"
As I could just not digest it, I asked Ellie what was on my mind.
"..." Ellie gave me a frown while lifting her head.
As I did not say anything she continued, "I confirmed it from Charlotte that there is only one room on first floor where injuries which are received during the training are treated and Auri did you really not ask anyone about anything!!? I can understand Hoover's reasoning but what is your excuse!?"
As I did not have anything to say I just gave her an awkward smile.
"Forget about all of that! Let me ask you important thing, before coming to this world did you have a talk with a tall lady?" To divert their attention, I asked them an important question.
"You mean Chloeir?" Hoover said with slight anger.
"I also met her!" Ellie declared this but with a slight expression of happiness.
"Why are you so happy talking about her?" I inquired because I cannot remember a single good thing she said to me.
"She treated me so nicely!" She exclaimed.
"She did not treat me nicely! Why the hell she treated you nicely?" I asked her in anger, which was not directed at her, but it appeared as I was angry at her.
"Why are you shouting!!!" Ellie screamed at me; her scream just now reminded me of my sister back in my original world, suddenly there was a pang in my chest, I was reminded of my family. "Ellie, she didn't treat me good as well! When I asked her anything she said my questions will be answered when I will reach the future." Hoover implied in a low voice filled with exhaustion. The way he said that I was beginning to curse myself as if her behaviour towards me was nothing!
"Well, she did not talk to me like that. Infact she was very easy to talk to, she gave me answers about everything I asked her!" Ellie said with joyful expression, her eyes closed.
"Stop thinking like you are above us or better than us, if a random lady talks to you with respect!" I was not able to digest this attitude of hers, and I was angry as why was I the only one who got so many insults by her.
"What did she say to you? It's like you had it worst!" Hoover asked me after seeing me complaining about her the most.
After pondering for some moment without giving any answer to Hoover I suddenly asked them a question.
"What was the appearance of the lady? Like what was her dress, what was she wearing, what was the colour of hair?" I asked them in urgency. I just remembered the voice I heard when I closed my eyes at that time due to brightness.
"Huh? She had red hair with faint shade of black colour in it, was wearing a dark red frock like dress."
"She had white hair, and her dress was mix of black and white colour."
Hoover and Ellie said simultaneously.
"The lady who talked to me had long black hair! I think this confirms one thing, it is that we talked to her different personalities."
"Her variants!" Hoover was amazed and astonished.
"It's just like scythehero6." He exclaimed with joy.
"Man, would you please stop talking about that weird show! This concept was used in grumpy dummy killer show ages ago!"
"Stop both of.. Kuh.. Kuh you!" Ellie yelled at us with trouble because of coughing.
"Stop yelling if your throat hurts!" Hoover said in a low mocking voice with a stern expression.
'Now it's no time to talk about that stupid stuff' I thought inwardly and said, "Ellie we might not get a chance to talk again so tell us everything you learnt about this world."
Ellie who was in the middle of Hoover and me tilted her head to give me questioning eyes as if asking me why I hadn't done anything after coming to this futuristic world. She then again turned her head in the forward direction, as she was not hurt too badly this time like yesterday and her wounds had already healed yesterday before getting discharged, so it was quite easy for her to tilt or turn her head.
"You guys know your caliber, right? Hoover even knows how to use it to some extent but you, my friend!" She again gave me a side eye; damn am I really that talentless.
"First thing I did was confirming my caliber! Then I looked for any kind of information I could get on this Elizabeth Silver. I got some from Charlotte. I learned how Elizabeth used her powers. After confirming the calibers, I went to look for history books of this world."
"So, you read the history books of this futuristic world. The past written in the book would still be our future right!?" Hoover asked the obvious question with a frown like he was really thinking deeply about it.
"Actually, I am not sure about that!" Ellie said in some suspicion.
"What are you not sure about!??" I and Hoover both asked her in sync. We were equally interested about this world in which we were randomly sent into due to some dumb act of terrorism.
"They had records about the year we come from-"
"Yeah, so what?" Ellie looked at Hoover with scrunched eyes filled with anger because he didn't let her finish her sentence.
"Hoover, shut up! Let her talk, we don't know shit about this world."
"There were dragons in the recorded history of this world and that history was of our time!" Ellie revealed this big shock with calmness.
"What? Dragons exist in this world?" Suddenly someone was feeling happy about this news, no need to mention who was it.
Ellie continued to tell us about the whole power system of this world as there are not only calibers a source of power in this world, but there is also vital force, modern weapons and blessings.
There is a ruler who hold the absolute power and no one dares to defy him. He holds the maximum authority but never calls himself a god. His power has forced all the realms to bow down to him and make him their ruler. He is supported by the two most powerful beings after him in the world. The one who controls everything and does not allow anything to happen without his permission. The one who is ruling this world for almost three hundred years, the one who calls himself the ruler of all, and has given himself title of, THE KING, wow, what a majestic name...
After listening to the magnificent introduction of the king of this world the one thing I am sure about is to never do anything that might anger him.

Ellie told us about many things about this world, but they were still all the popular things, I still had to know about the current political conditions between the countries and empires. If the king is the supreme ruler, then why the hell there is war going on in his kingdom?
Well, we were discharged from the nurse's office after only two hours, we were able to talk in the absence of nurse for ten minutes when she went to write my medical expense in the record diary of students. I think I understand what it means, she gave me extremely expensive medicine to heal my broken wrist as fast as possible and as I am just a cadet of 17 years they will deduct the money of expense from my salary of no matter what job I would be doing or I might have to pay the loan myself like writing the cheque for this thing for some months, man it would be painful seeing every day that my money goes for something I didn't do voluntarily.

"Gilbert and Edison were worried about their friend Seth, same was with Charlotte, she was also worried about her friend so much that she couldn't do her training properly. Emma was suspicious about this whole thing as why the three of them got injured at a same time, but she paid little attention to them and continued her training.
"Don't you think it is weird?" A girl of short height said to the girl she was sparring with rather than sparring they were chatting with each other as they were done with their exercises and were now just doing some of it to show the trainer.
The other girl replied, "You know they went to that pit together right! I also think that they are planning something."
Both of the girls were in the same training camp, training camp-135 and were talking about the infamous sworn enemies of Heinsberg.

Richard and Gil were done for the day when they saw their friend Seth enter the training hall but their smiles soon faded away when they saw him coming together with Norde McClark and Elizabeth Silver and was talking to them.
They decided to stay at their place and not to go to Seth. Seth saw them making weird expressions so he said goodbye to Norde and Elizabeth and went to them.
"Why are you staring at me like that?"
Wondering in suspicion Seth asked his friends Richard and Gilbert.
"Why were you talking to them?"
Richard asked looking at Seth with concern clear on his face.
Seth turned his head to look at Elizabeth and Norde and replied, "Considering the circumstances we have decided to make temporary acquaintances of each other."
