Chapter 3: The Wolf’s Hunger

Eli's breath hitched as the wolf's sharp claws traced along his jaw, tilting his chin up with effortless dominance. His body was hot—too hot—despite the cold rain soaking them both. His fluffy ears twitched, his golden eyes flickering between fear and something else he refused to name.

"You're trembling," the wolf murmured, his voice a husky purr.

Eli bit his lip, willing himself to stay still. "I… I'm not afraid of you."

A low chuckle rumbled from the wolf's chest, his crimson eyes gleaming in amusement. "Liar."

He pressed in closer, his muscular frame pinning Eli against the rough bark. His nose skimmed along the curve of Eli's neck, inhaling deeply. "You smell sweet," he murmured, his warm breath sending a shiver down Eli's spine. "Like something that's meant to be tasted."

Eli gasped as sharp fangs ghosted over his skin—just a tease, just enough to make him arch slightly.

"S-stop…" he whispered, though his fingers had unconsciously curled into the wolf's damp fur, betraying his words.

The wolf smirked. "Stop? But your body tells me something else."

His hand trailed lower, brushing against Eli's waist, his grip tightening possessively. "I could ruin you right here, little lamb," he murmured, his lips just barely grazing the shell of Eli's ear. "Would you fight me… or would you let me?"

🔥 SNAP.

A branch cracked in the distance.

The wolf's predatory gaze darkened, his ears flicking toward the sound. His grip on Eli didn't loosen. "Looks like we have company."
