Birthday Party
I wake up after a good rest ready to start gaming, but i check my phone and see message from my sister telling that the party will starts at 1:30 in the afternoon
I think for a while before realizing "shit i forgot it's my sister birthday, i'm so fucking stupid", i check the time to see it's 1:00.
"Shit, i gotta hurry", i quickly rush to go have my shower and brush my teeth, i waste around 10 minutes doing that and then i start looking through my closet to find good clothes for the party, after some looking i find a plain white shirt stashed inside some other clothes, i put it on.
"It's not perfect but it works", i put o a black pants and rush outside calling an uber to get me, after a while of waiting, it pulled up.
I walk into it ready to go to the birthday party, I tell the driver of the cab "can you take me to Get air".
"Yes sir", the cab driver says and then drives the car off, after a while of driving, i start to see the place in the distance.
Yumi POV
"Where is he at, he's gonna be late if he doesn't get here soon", i say worried thinking he might have forgotten and isn't coming, but that gets put down when i see a yellow car and my big bro inside.
MC POV
I see us getting closer to the building and then I see my sister, my parents and her friends waiting for me to come.
Soon enough, we arrive there "thank you for the ride, sir", the cab driver answers with a "no problem sir, just doing my job.
After paying him, I walk over to them and greet my parents, they greet me back and then I ruffle my sis hair a bit as she tries to push my hand away while putting on a serious face.
"Happy birthday sis, hope you get a happy life in the future", i say while smiling and then i hear her say these words " where's my birthday gift".
I freeze realizing I forgot to get her one in my hurry to get her but I quickly come up with an excuse " oh i forgot it at my apartment " i say with the best smile i can come up with.
"Oh you did, what art thou got for me then", she says with sarcasm, i realize that she doesn't believe me, but i try to keep the act going by saying "can you tell me what you wanted to see if it matches what i got for you", i say with a bit of sweat trickling down my back as my parents watch while laughing.
She then looks at me and then says "i want you to buy me some makeup and some new shoes", i look at her before realizing this is my chance " oh what a surprise, that's exactly what i got you" i say while laughing.
She looks at me with a suspicious glance before saying that " bet, once we're done with the party, i'll follow you to your house to grab it there".
"No sis, don't stress yourself with stuff like this since it's your birthday, relax a bit", i'm practically sweating bullets at this point but i keep my smile going.
She then looks at me before saying "no big bro, i insist on following you, it'll be fun to hang out with you for a while", she gives me a look that makes me feel like i can't refuse.
We continue on with the day having some fun and pushing each other off the foam cliff there.This was one of the encounters that made me genuinely have some fun.
After a couple of hours, it's evening "how time flies when you're having fun", i mutter to myself, I wave goodbye to my sis "bye sis, have a good day".
She then says "i think i was planning to do something with you but i forgot, anyways BYE", i sigh a breath of relief as she waves at me while i'm entering the cab i called and i wave back.
I make a quick stop to get her the makeup and shoes. I remember her saying she wanted, "my bank balance is going down", i sigh to myself before paying for the stuff and asking the cab driver to take me home.
We reach there pretty soon and after paying, I walk into my apartment building and I get on my computer, I go on discord and see if there's any new messages from people and I check to see some guy asking me to make an edit of a guy called eas from a show called red locked.
I quickly watched a quick recap of the show on Hianime and I realized it's a show bout a guy named igasi who kicks balls to become a pro soccer player and dominate the field.
After a while of more watching, the animation gets fire, and I find who eas, I continue watching the show till I find enough information to make the edit.
The dude texted me saying he'd pay 13 bucks for me to make it and let him use it for himself, i feel like i'm scamming the dude, but i do it anyways and after i'm done i send it to him, after a while of waiting i receive the payment and i smile knowing i gained easy money by just moving adding rainbow affects and moving the characters body parts in a cool way.
I decide to play another game called nitefort, in which i have some fun with the varieties of guns and other weapons in the game.
After an hour of playing, I check the time and see it's late so I turn off my computer and lie on my bed ready to go to sleep and play some more games.
