Chapter 67: The Four Great Phenomena Suppress

The death of Wen Shisan came too suddenly.

Wen Yang didn't even have time to react. Only when Wen Shisan's body collapsed and his aura dissipated did he realize that his ancestor had been slain by Li Jiu Feng, a Ninth-Rank cultivator. This was a testament to how swift Li Jiu Feng's strike had been.

Fury and shock filled Wen Yang as he stared at Li Jiu Feng, wanting to question him. However, when he met the cold, piercing gaze of Li Jiu Feng, he immediately hesitated.

A Ninth-Rank cultivator had killed a Tenth-Rank ancestor with a single strike—how could he, a mere Tenth-Rank, dare to confront such a person?

Furthermore, Wen Yang couldn't escape the guilt he felt. He never expected the old ancestor to go back on his word so suddenly.

Suddenly, a thunderous voice echoed from within the Wen family's mystical realm. It was filled with anger and authority.

"Who dares to be so bold, killing someone before the Wen family's mystical realm?!"

In an instant, six terrifying auras appeared next to Wen Yang, their presence as heavy as mountains. These auras locked their gaze onto Li Jiu Feng.

Other Tenth-Rank experts from within the Wen family, upon sensing the death of Wen Shisan, were enraged and came rushing out.

"Old Thirteen, what happened to you?" A black-robed elder cried out in shock as he hurriedly tried to revive Wen Shisan's body with his true energy. However, it was clear that his efforts were in vain.

"Old Thirteen's soul has been shattered into fragments. He's completely dead," the elder gritted his teeth, his face filled with bitterness.

The five others immediately turned their attention to Li Jiu Feng, silently surrounding him, cutting off all possible escape routes.

"You, a Ninth-Rank cultivator, killed Old Thirteen?" asked a woman in red, her eyes filled with surprise and curiosity as she studied Li Jiu Feng.

The others also scrutinized him, trying to figure out how this Ninth-Rank cultivator had done the impossible.

Li Jiu Feng stood tall, holding Wen Xinyun in his arms. Despite being surrounded, he remained unfazed, mocking them. "Is this how your Wen family does things?" he asked. "One fails to defeat me, so now you bring all of you to gang up on me?"

"You Wen family invited me with great sums to help break the seal, and now you dare to kill our powerful experts and then question us?" The woman in red sneered.

Li Jiu Feng laughed mockingly. "Great sums?"

"Is that how you define it? Forcing a little girl, who sacrificed her cultivation to help your Wen family break the seal, to give up the Qiu Long Root?"

His cold gaze swept across the group. The red-clad woman immediately turned to Wen Yang, who hesitantly nodded in confirmation.

The red-clad woman's face darkened, unable to find the words to respond.

Li Jiu Feng, holding Wen Xinyun, coldly continued, "It was your Wen family that offered the Qiu Long Root to heal Wen Xinyun and promised to give us information about her mother. It was only because of that promise that I agreed to let Wen Xinyun help you break the seal. But now, after all that, you go back on your word, trying to use your power to pressure us?"

His words left the entire group, including the red-clad woman, speechless. They knew deep down that the Wen family had been at fault.

However, the black-robed elder furiously retorted, "Even if Old Thirteen made a mistake, you shouldn't have killed him. This is a provocation against the Wen family! If you don't give us an explanation today, you won't leave!"

Li Jiu Feng sneered disdainfully. "An explanation?"

"Why should I give you an explanation?" he mocked. "You Wen family begged Wen Xinyun for help, and it's you who have wronged her. She sacrificed her cultivation for you, and yet you go back on your word. Now, I'm asking you for an explanation!"

Li Jiu Feng's aura surged as his fury reached its peak. His eyes burned with rage as he looked at the pale, weak Wen Xinyun in his arms. The injustice of the situation made his blood boil.

Wen Xinyun was someone he had watched grow up, someone he had raised and guided through cultivation. It was only because she wanted to find her mother that she agreed to give up her cultivation. But now, after she had done all this, the Wen family went back on their word and tried to seize the Qiu Long Root. This was unforgivable!

Did they think that Li Jiu Feng was someone to be easily bullied? Just because he enjoyed a secluded and peaceful life didn't mean he lacked the will to fight back.

Surrounded by six Tenth-Rank cultivators, Li Jiu Feng showed no signs of retreat. Instead, he took a step forward, and from behind him, boundless darkness emerged, accompanied by the sound of surging waves, crashing through the air. A radiant moon slowly rose, lighting up the dark mountains and revealing Li Jiu Feng's figure like that of a celestial being.

The bright moon rises over the sea!

Li Jiu Feng directly unleashed his Daoist Phenomenon, a brilliant moon that illuminated the entire scene. The Ninth-Rank Li Jiu Feng's power now outshone the six Tenth-Rank cultivators.

The six Tenth-Rank cultivators of the Wen family were stunned as they gazed at the radiant moon behind Li Jiu Feng.

"Is that a Daoist Phenomenon?" the woman in red murmured in disbelief, rubbing her eyes. She couldn't believe that a Ninth-Rank cultivator could comprehend such a profound and powerful Daoist Phenomenon.

"What do you want?" the black-robed elder's expression darkened, his eyes fixed on Li Jiu Feng.

Wen Xinyun, still in Li Jiu Feng's arms, nervously grabbed his sleeve, her eyes filled with concern.

Li Jiu Feng smiled gently at her, then turned to face the black-robed elder with a cold sneer. "Isn't the Wen family fond of using power to suppress others?"

"Today, I'll show you what it means to be suppressed!"

As his words fell, the moon behind him grew even brighter, expanding rapidly.

Boom!

The moon, as bright as the sea's full moon, descended upon the six Tenth-Rank cultivators and Wen Yang.

Wen Yang was struck by the immense force and immediately lost consciousness, collapsing to the ground. The difference in strength between him and Li Jiu Feng was simply too great.

The six Tenth-Rank cultivators surrounding Li Jiu Feng now realized his intentions. Their faces turned pale with fury.

"You, a Ninth-Rank cultivator, want to suppress all six of us?" the woman in red shouted in disbelief.

"How dare you! Even if you've grasped a Daoist Phenomenon, you're too arrogant!"

"You're too reckless! I'll crush you!" the black-robed elder snarled, his aura colliding with the moonlight in an attempt to resist.

The others followed suit, launching their power to counter Li Jiu Feng's moonlight, desperate to suppress him.

Li Jiu Feng looked at them, sneering. "Is one Daoist Phenomenon not enough for you? Fine, then I'll add another!"

Boom!

In the next instant, the sea's moonlight erupted in golden light, and a golden lotus bloomed within it. The sight was beautiful beyond words.

The Lotus of the Bitter Sea blooms!

The golden lotus expanded, its power overwhelming. The combined force of the two Daoist Phenomena shattered the defenses of the six Tenth-Rank cultivators, sending them stumbling back, their blood surging. They stared at each other in disbelief.

Another Daoist Phenomenon?

But the surprises didn't stop there.

As the golden lotus blossomed, a giant white fish leaped from the sea, its body shimmering with the power of the Dao. Under the moonlight, it was a sight of grace and beauty.

The Fish Leaps Over the Sea!

Boom!

A third Daoist Phenomenon emerged, pressing down on the six Tenth-Rank cultivators, forcing them to bend and buckle under the weight of its power. They watched in horror.

But the most terrifying thing had yet to come.

As the fish leapt from the sea, a stunning, radiant flower bloomed in front of Li Jiu Feng and Wen Xinyun, its petals unfurling as if to herald a new world.

The Flowers Bloom on the Other Shore!

This was the fourth Daoist Phenomenon, and it crushed everything in its path.

Boom!

The four Daoist Phenomena combined, crushing the six Tenth-Rank cultivators from the Wen family to their knees. They were utterly powerless, like monkeys trapped beneath a mountain, unable to fight back.
