Episode 32: The Goblin and the Mirror of Ridiculous Reflections

The shop bell jingled, and a short, scrappy goblin waddled in, his arms filled with what looked like a sack of random objects. He gave Felix and Zira an intense stare, the kind that says, I'm about to ask for something weird.

"I need a mirror," the goblin said, eyeing the counter suspiciously. "But it has to be special. I want a mirror that only shows the most ridiculous version of my face."

Zira raised an eyebrow. "Wait, what?"

The goblin grinned toothily. "Yeah, yeah, you heard me right. Something that'll make me laugh every time I look at it. I'm tired of seeing my usual face! I want a mirror that makes me look funnier."

Felix leaned back, hands behind his head. "Okay, so… like a funhouse mirror but with, I don't know, personality?"

"Exactly!" the goblin said, his voice full of excitement. "I want it to be weird—like, make my ears go too big or my nose too small. Something that looks like a goblin just after taking a headbutt to the face!"

Zira snickered. "And you want this for what? Inspiration?"

The goblin waved his hand dismissively. "Nah, just for fun! No deep meaning. I'm a goblin. We're all about chaos and laughs."

Felix sighed and walked to the back, muttering about how he always got the strange requests.

Ten Minutes Later...

Felix returned, holding a small hand mirror with a polished, glowing surface. "Here's your mirror. It's enchanted to reflect the most absurd version of your face, exactly how you wanted."

The goblin's eyes gleamed with joy. "Oh, it's perfect!" He grabbed the mirror, holding it in front of his face.

At first, nothing happened. The reflection was just the same old goblin, green and scrappy, with a slightly crooked grin.

Then, as he blinked, his reflection's nose grew five times too big, his ears stretched into comically long triangles, and his eyes bulged out like two huge marbles.

The goblin stared at the mirror, unable to contain his laughter. "YES! This is gold!" He cackled, clutching his sides. "I look like a goblin version of a sausage! HA!"

The reflection seemed to agree, as it also burst into an exaggerated, high-pitched laugh that echoed back at him.

Zira leaned over the counter, watching the goblin's reaction. "I think it nailed it. It's like the goblin version of a cartoon character."

Felix smirked. "It's a mirror, but with a sense of humor."

The goblin waved the mirror around, his face changing every time he looked at it—one moment with a mustache that looked like a broom, the next with a huge, ridiculous smile that stretched far too wide.

"This is perfect!" he yelled through his laughter. "I can't wait to show everyone! Maybe I'll use it to prank the village chiefs!"

Felix raised a hand. "Uh, just remember: the mirror's reflection can get pretty extreme, so if you have any important meetings, maybe don't use it."

The goblin paused, eyes gleaming with mischief. "Oh, I'll use it on everyone except the chiefs! It'll be a great surprise!"

As the goblin pranced out of the shop, his laughter trailing behind him, Zira couldn't help but snicker. "I'm just imagining the chaos he's going to cause."

Felix chuckled. "If it's anything like his face, it's going to be spectacularly weird."
