Chapter 6

"The doctor said not to take medicine on an empty stomach, I'll go cook some porridge for you." He felt my forehead and then ran to the kitchen.

Standing at 1.85 meters, his muscular build filled out his shirt, making him seem unlike a man who would do the humble task of cooking.

But not long after, he came out with a bowl of fragrant and tasty spinach and lean meat porridge.

"Thank you." I politely reached out, wanting to take the hot bowl of porridge.

"You just finished an IV drip, I'll feed you." His tone was commanding, leaving me no room to refuse.

I could only obediently open my mouth to wait for the feeding under his care.

A spoonful of hot porridge was blown cool by him and then brought to my mouth, each bite perfectly tailored to my taste and habits, containing meat and spinach.

"Is it good?" He cautiously awaited my evaluation.

I nodded and smiled affirmatively, "It's delicious."

"If you like it, I'll make it for you often." Upon hearing this, he smiled brightly.
