Chapter 3

Before telling my sister, I tracked Zhuang Xiao to my husband's workplace.

I initially wanted to go up and take a look, but unexpectedly, Zhuang Xiao came down quickly.

I bit my lip and told the driver to speed up and go back.

Just as I returned, so did Zhuang Xiao.

He looked a bit surprised to see me at the door.

"Sis, why are you out for a walk?"

I awkwardly touched my stomach.

"Isn't that what prenatal education says? To move around more?"

Zhuang Xiao shook his head and supported me back into the house.

"It's still early in the pregnancy; you can't do that, wait until later months."

"If you feel bored staying in, just let me know, and I'll take you out to play."

If I didn't know Zhuang Xiao's true colors, I might actually think he's a good person.

Suddenly, on a whim, I asked,

"Xiao Zhuang, when do you plan to have a baby with my sister? Maybe they can grow up together."

Zhuang Xiao paused and looked at me helplessly.

"Sis, this kind of thing depends on fate."

Zhuang Xiao helped me to my room, and after he left, I called my sister.

My sister graduated only two years ago and is working in a foreign company.

"Sis, why are you calling? Did something happen?"

Hearing my sister's voice, I almost burst into tears.

Before I could speak, my sister started to worry again.

"Why are you crying? Oh no, if you don't tell me, I'll call Zhuang Xiao and have him take care of you."

I gritted my teeth, insisting that my sister not call Zhuang Xiao.

"I found Zhong Wang and Zhuang Xiao's accounts on Blue Bird; they... they're a couple."

"They marry just to have children!"
