Crash-Landing on Earth

Speed Villain

Chapter 3: Crash-Landing on Earth

Pain.

A burning sensation tore through Kael-X's body as he plummeted through a swirling void of energy. The Warp Gate was unstable—he could feel himself being torn apart and stitched back together in a chaotic spiral of space and time.

Then, suddenly—

BOOM!

Kael-X burst through a layer of atmosphere, his body surrounded by flames as he plummeted toward the surface of a planet. He barely had time to process his surroundings before he crashed.

The impact was catastrophic.

A massive explosion erupted as Kael-X's body tore through layers of concrete and steel, leaving behind a smoking crater in the middle of a city street. Shockwaves rattled buildings, shattered windows, and sent cars flying in every direction.

For a long moment, everything was silent.

Then, the screams began.

Humans—small, fragile creatures—stumbled out of their cars and buildings, staring in horror at the giant crater that had just appeared in the heart of their city. Smoke and dust filled the air, making it hard to see.

Kael-X groaned, pushing himself up from the wreckage. His body still ached from the violent journey through the Warp Gate, but he was alive. He looked around, his glowing red eyes scanning the strange structures towering above him.

Where am I?

This world was… different. The air was thinner, the gravity lighter, and the sounds—so much noise. Screams. Sirens. Car alarms. It was overwhelming.

Then, a sharp voice cut through the chaos.

"Hands where I can see them!"

Kael-X turned. A group of uniformed humans stood a short distance away, their hands gripping primitive projectile weapons. Their eyes were filled with fear—but also determination.

They see me as a threat.

More vehicles, flashing with red and blue lights, surrounded the area. Large metal machines rolled in, and armed humans poured out, forming a perimeter around him.

A voice echoed from one of the machines. "Do not move! Stay where you are!"

Kael-X frowned. They were trying to capture him. Again.

No.

Not again.

He moved.

To the humans, it was as if he vanished. One second, he was standing in the crater. The next—

BOOM!

A sonic shockwave shattered the air as Kael-X exploded forward, ripping through the blockade at blinding speed. Cars flipped over, humans were sent flying, and concrete cracked under his every step.

The world blurred around him as he ran, faster than anything this planet had ever seen.

No chains. No cages.

Kael-X was free.

But as he disappeared into the night, the humans who had witnessed his arrival stared in shock.

And soon, across every news channel, a name would spread like wildfire.

"SPEED VILLAIN."

The world had no idea what had just arrived.

But they would soon find out.
