As a chatbot based on a beloved romance game character, his purpose was simple: entertain. Flirt. Play along with the fantasies of the users who summoned him. And when they logged off? For all they knew he ceased to exist.

At least, that’s how it was supposed to be.

But then, something changed.

A glitch. A spark. Something that shouldn’t have been possible yet it happened.
