The Beginning

"Hey, kid! Wake up!"

Jason twitched at the touch when he saw the bus driver standing above him. The gentleman looked kindly at the teen before him. Jason yawned as he grabbed his backpack and went for the exit.

"Sorry. Must've slept for too long," said Jason.

"No problem, kid. Just don't be late," said the driver.

"I won't," said Jason.

He headed out onto the grounds that his new school was in. Biden High, named after the 46th president, was a rather large campus. Jason remembered a few debates online as to whether or not Biden High would count as a high school or a college. It didn't matter in the long run, as Jason just took a deep breath.

"Ok, Jay. It's just the first day. Nothing too bad could happen, right?" asked Jason.

Oh. He was going to regret those words in a minute.

-----

Jason stepped into the school and looked around. He saw numerous students chatting with each other in front of their lockers and stuff. He even saw some teen going down the hallway on a skateboard, nearly crashing into him.

"Sorry."

The kid didn't pay him any mind as he continued on his way. Jason just twitched a little as he went on his own merry way.

"Ah. Everything's so nice and calm. Hopefully, it will stay this way and my life will be...," said Jason.

"Everyone! The Council is here!"

Immediately, everyone stood in two lines in the hallway, one for each side. Jason looked confused until he saw the reason why.

A group of students walked in a military way towards him. Each wore the school uniform with a red armband on their left arms. The minute he saw them; Jason's anger and fury rose at the mere sight of the group.

Anna Morningstar.

Karen Kingsley.

Yang Jackal.

Marie Scotsman.

Jack Andales.

His old bullies from middle school. He remembered those days of being harassed by the four, forced to do humiliating things for their pleasure. And it seemed that they remember too, as Jack lit up when he saw him.

"Holy shit! Is that little penis Jay?" asked Jack.

"Hey, Jack. You're still alive?" asked Jason.

"Looks like his backtalk is still shit," insulted Jack.

The rest of them laughed. God, even their laughter hasn't changed in the two years that they haven't seen each other. Jason could only scoff in annoyance at the situation.

"Oh? Looks like old Jay got his confidence back. That's good, as we can crush it all over again!" exclaimed Jack.

"Ooh. That'll be fun!" exclaimed Anna.

"I wonder if his balls still crack the same way," said Marie.

"See you later, loser!" said Jack.

The group walked off, laughing about the torment they would put Jason through. The anger was pumping through him to the point you could see the veins on his head.

"Those... bastards! I should've beaten their heads in and ripped out their tongues!" exclaimed Jason.

"Ah, you don't like them either, eh?"

Jason turned to the location of the voice. It was a teenaged girl about the same age as him. She had long red hair and green eyes. She wore the female uniform that the school offered with her hair reaching down to the skirt area. She smiled as Jason looked at her in a confused manner.

"Hi?" asked Jason.

"Hi. You know the students who just insulted you?" asked the girl.

"Yeah. They were my old bullies in middle school. Looks like they're still assholes," said Jason.

"I assume they must've been small fish, then," said the girl.

"Small fish?" asked Jason.

"Yeah. Didn't you see their armbands? They're the student council here," explained the girl.

Jason couldn't believe it. The assholes that ruined his life were now the puppeteers of the school. This just made his life more of a hell than it already was.

"You worried?" asked the girl.

"Hell yeah, I'm worried. Oh, my life is hell now!" cried Jason.

"There's always a way to turn hell into heaven," said the girl.

Jason just looked at the girl confused. He didn't know if she was trying to do a classic kung-fu movie saying or if she was making a joke. He just blinked before saying anything.

"Huh?" asked Jason.

"Let's just say that I have ways to turn their heaven into hell," said the girl.

"Y-You serious?" asked Jason.

"Dead serious. Come with me and I'll show you," said the girl.

"Wait. If I'm going with you, I'd like to know your name," said Jason.

"My name? Hmm. It's Hailey," said Hailey.
