Jason had arrived in the classroom just before class was going to start. Most of the other students had already arrived and were speaking to each other. He ignored them for the most part and headed to his seat. His seat was at the back of the class and right next to the window.
The classic anime protagonist seat.
He barely had any time before the teacher's door swung open and the teacher walked in. She had light brown hair that was put into a bun and hazel eyes. She wore a violet business suit with black high heels. Jason looked at her up and down as she began speaking.
"I am Lisa Thompson and I'll be your homeroom teacher for the year. It's nice to meet you," said Ms. Thompson.
"So, this' the Council's protector, eh?" thought Jason.
-FLASHBACK-
"Protector?" asked Jason.
"Exactly. Every bully has a teacher that supports them and lets them get away with everything. If we want to put the Council back in their place as the school's bitches, we'd need to take out their protector first," explained Hailey.
"Ok. How do we do that?" asked Jason.
"First, give me your phone," said Hailey.
With a raised brow, Jason gave his phone to her. She plugged a hard drive into his phone, and it began to download something. Naturally, this caused him to raise a brow.
"Y-You're not uploading a virus, are you?" asked Jason.
"Do I really look that stupid to you?" asked Hailey.
Jason merely twitched at the question. Once the download was complete, Hailey handed the phone back to its user. Immediately, Jason noticed a new app on his phone. It was a red skull on top of a grey triangle with a black background on it.
"What is it?" asked Jason.
"A new app I invented. It should allow for us to gain access to her phone's systems and procure some useful information," said Hailey.
"How?" asked Jason.
"I programmed the app to identify enemy phone numbers. Once it detects one of the programmed numbers, it'll access the enemy phone and scan every nook and cranny of the thing and direct that information back to the database," said Hailey.
"Won't the teacher or student notice that something's going into their phone?" asked Jason.
"I doubt that. Most teachers and students have their phones set to silent and non-vibrate, so they won't notice that anything even happened. Besides, there won't be any trace of an attack," said Hailey.
"Ok. Who's the protector?" asked Jason.
"Ms. Lisa Thompson, your homeroom teacher," said Hailey.
-FLASHBACK END-
Jason sat in his seat as Ms. Thompson talked. It was the standard "welcome to school, please introduce yourself" speech that all teachers tend to give at the beginning of the year. He could feel the app working through his pants as the teacher finished.
"Alright. We'll start from the top right and move down. Young man, could you please step to the front?" asked Ms. Thompson.
Jason got up from his seat and walked over to the front of the class. He didn't show any outward resentment, as that would've brought about suspicion. He sighed as he looked at the entire class.
"My name is Jason Oliver. Like you, I am a freshman here. Let's all have a good year," said Jason.
There wasn't really all that much of a response. It was a standard introduction speech to a student's classmates. He's pretty sure he heard a yawn from one of the male students at one point.
"Thank you, Mr. Oliver. You can return to your seat," said Ms. Thompson.
He went back to his seat as she called the next student. As she was going through the students, he checked the app. It had just finished scanning and is now sending the information into the database.
"Perfect" thought Jason.
