Investigating the Protector's Downfall

Tony Johnson was having a bit of a boring day. Being a part of the school's newspaper wasn't as exciting as it seemed in movies and TV shows. Although, it did give him a sense of relief from all of his classes.

"Hey, Johnson!"

Tony turned to see David Morrison, the newspaper's editor. It was rare to see him in the newspaper room, much less rare for him to call out a journalist by name. In fact, he was kind of wondering if Morrison knew any of the journalists' names.

"Yeah?" asked Tony.

"You remember Lisa Thompson, right?" asked Morrison.

"The teacher that the Student Council are all buddy-buddy with? Yeah," answered Tony.

"Something just happened with her," said Morrison.

"What? Did she fall down the stairs or something?" asked Tony.

"No. Some woman came into the school, asked why Thompson wasn't at a daycare, spanked her, and then walked out of the building," explained Morrison.

"What the fuck?" asked Tony.

"That's what I said when I found out. Go and see if you can find out anything more about this," said Morrison.

"Yes, sir," answered Tony.

And so, Tony went off to investigate the story. He managed to find one of the kids who recorded what happened on his phone. Thankfully, the kid wasn't doing anything so Tony could approach him.

"Hi. I'm with the school newspaper and I was wondering about the incident with Ms. Thompson," said Tony.

"Ok. What do you want to know?" asked the student.

"Do you know who the woman was?" asked Tony.

"I think her name was Elouise. From what I could gather, she was Thompson's sister," said the student.

"How'd you get to that conclusion?" asked Tony.

"Thompson was shouting 'Elouise' as she was being spanked. The sister thing came up when Elouise was apologizing for Thompson to Anna," said the student.

"Anna? You mean, Anna Morningstar from the Student Council?" asked Tony.

"Yeah. She walked up and asked what was going on. But Elouise kept on interrupting her before just walking off," answered the student.

"Interesting. Thank you for your time," said Tony.

"No problem," said the student.

Finding Anna wasn't that much of a problem. She was standing in the hallway outside Thompson's old classroom. He steeled himself before approaching her.

"Ms. Morningstar. I'm from the school newspaper and I was wondering if I could ask you about Ms. Thompson," said Tony.

"What about it?" asked Anna.

"I heard from another student that you approached the woman who spanked Ms. Thompson. Could you tell me more about that?" asked Tony.

"Yeah. It was weird, like she apologized for Ms. Thompson's behavior when she just barged into our school and spanked a teacher in front of students. I think she needs to apologize for her behavior, not Ms. Thompson's," said Anna.

"That is pretty weird. Did she say anything else before she left?" asked Tony.

"She said that she was going to put a diaper on Ms. Thompson and enroll her at a daycare," said Anna.

"Was Ms. Thompson incontinent or something?" asked Tony.

"I don't know. She was the one to say it, not me," said Anna.

"Ok. Thank you for your time," said Tony.

The next day, a new article appeared on the school's newspaper. While that wasn't unusual in of itself, the title of the article was interesting.

TEACHER'S SISTER SPANKS TEACHER IN HALLWAY!

Jason looked at the article in fascination. It didn't suspect him or Hailey, it just described what happened to Ms. Thompson. He smiled at the article.

"Well. This' interesting," said Jason.
