In Emberfall Kingdom, a massive building stood surrounded by high-level magical security. Around 67 A-rank hunters guarded the area, ensuring that no one could enter or leave without permission. Inside this building, deep within its chambers, lay a sealed hunter—Crimson. He was once a powerful warrior but had betrayed humanity, attempting to turn into a monster himself. Now, he was bound by unbreakable chains, his powers continuously drained, yet never fully disappearing. Though he remained in a deep sleep, his presence alone made the very walls tremble.
Meanwhile, in a quiet church within Emberfall, a mysterious figure entered. His eyes glowed with darkness as he approached the priest at the altar. The priest, sensing something was wrong, stepped back in fear.
"Who are you? You startled me!" the priest said nervously.
The stranger gave a sinister smile, sending chills down the priest's spine. "If you try anything, I will call the royal knights or the hunters!" the priest warned.
Before he could react, the stranger moved in an instant, tearing the skin off the priest's face and body. The priest's agonizing screams filled the church as blood splattered everywhere. The stranger then consumed the priest's flesh, shivering with delight.
"My lord was right… Becoming a monster is beautiful," he muttered, his face dripping with blood.
Just then, a little girl, no older than nine, entered the church to pray. She froze in horror at the sight before her and tried to run, but the stranger grabbed her hair and hurled her against the stone wall. Blood splattered across the floor as she lay there, barely breathing. She whimpered, begging for her life, but the stranger showed no mercy. He devoured her flesh just as he had done with the priest. Her tiny body trembled for a few seconds before she finally stopped moving.
The man wiped the blood from his face and grinned. "I will set you free, Lord Crimson."
Outside, the rain poured heavily, washing away the bloodstains from the church steps, but inside, the massacre was complete.

Back in Elyria, Zaren was busy training. He had been working on improving his teleportation speed, trying to enhance his skills. After a while, he stopped, wiping the sweat off his forehead.
"I think that's enough for today," he said to himself. "Maybe I should clear a dungeon before heading back. I still need to buy a gift for Elara."
Just as he was about to leave, a strange black aura surrounded him. Before he could react, his entire body vanished from the spot.
The next thing he knew, he was in the sky—falling fast.
"WHAT THE HELL?!" Zaren screamed. "I CAN'T FLY! WHERE AM I?!"
Panic set in as he realized he was plummeting towards the ground.
"Lumis!" he called out to his system assistant. "What's happening? How did I end up here? I didn't give you any orders!"
"Sir, I didn't do this!" Lumis replied.
Zaren's mind raced. "That damn black entity! Did it bring me here?!"
Realizing he had only seconds before crashing, he focused his energy into his legs.
"Lumis, enhance my body strength!" he commanded.
"Understood, sir!" Lumis responded.
Zaren braced himself for impact, but then Lumis spoke again. "Sir, you could also just teleport to the ground. Why didn't you do that?"
Zaren's eyes twitched. "ARE YOU SERIOUS?! WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME THAT EARLIER?!"
Still falling, he quickly activated his teleportation ability and, in an instant, appeared safely on the ground.
Looking around, he realized he was no longer in Elyria. The buildings were different, the streets unfamiliar.
"Where am I?" he wondered aloud.
A sign nearby read: Welcome to Ravaria Kingdom
It was a poor kingdom, but the people seemed happy. Despite its worn-down appearance, there was warmth in the air.
Zaren sighed. "Guess I'll have to figure out how to get back."
Little did he know, his journey was about to take a dark turn.
