CHAPTER 31

c31 - You're Already Dead!

Guy carried the injured Genma and jumped out of the training ground, his expression solemn. He couldn't believe what he was witnessing. Kakashi, his trusted friend, had become something... different. His eyes, usually calm and collected, now reflected a twisted sense of aggression.

"Yuuji… can he win? Kakashi's attacks are vicious, too fierce," Genma muttered, his voice weak as he tried to make sense of the situation.

"He can win. Yuuji-san is incredibly strong—stronger than even I can understand. There's power inside him that I've yet to see fully unleashed," Guy replied, clenching his fists. His faith in Yuuji was unwavering. "If Yuuji really uses that technique, even Kakashi won't stand a chance."

But doubt lingered in his mind. Could Yuuji really go through with it? Was this fight worth it?

The Training Ground

Kakashi's intense focus was evident in the way he slashed with his blade, his Sharingan flashing dangerously. His mind raced with a cold, calculating strategy. I need to end this fight quickly. This poison, this invisible threat Yuuji controls… it'll only weaken me the longer I fight. He was determined to finish it fast, before his opponent could land a fatal blow.

With blinding speed, Kakashi slashed downward, aiming for Yuuji's throat. The blade was sharp, and its precision spoke volumes about Kakashi's skill. His intent to kill was unmistakable.

But Yuuji didn't flinch. With a cold, detached expression, he leaned back, just enough to avoid the blade, and in the same fluid motion, brought his knee up hard into Kakashi's chest. The sound of impact rang through the air as the two ninja collided head-on, each blow a testament to their advanced skill.

This kid's stronger than I expected, Kakashi thought, barely able to suppress the shock. The pain in his chest was immediate, even with chakra reinforcement. The force of the collision was more than his enhanced body could easily absorb.

Pa!

"Don't get distracted. It'll cost you," Yuuji said as he pressed his shoulder into Kakashi's, pushing him back as he readied himself for the next move. Kakashi's reaction time wasn't fast enough this time, and he had to block a powerful incoming punch from Yuuji, which sent him flying backward.

"I told you," Yuuji continued, his voice cold, "you need to prepare yourself to die if you're going to challenge me."

Despite the blood streaming from his shoulder, Yuuji's expression remained unchanged. The wound was deep, but his body's incredible self-healing ability kicked in. He had already started repairing the damage, his cells rapidly regenerating the tissue. Within moments, the wound began to close, and the bleeding slowed.

Kakashi, still recovering from the shock of being struck, watched in disbelief. "This… this is part of your Blood Succession Boundary? It's not just like medical ninjutsu… it's something else entirely."

Yuuji raised an eyebrow as he slowly pulled out the white tooth dagger still embedded in his shoulder. "You should have figured that out earlier. But don't worry, Kakashi. This is your last chance." His voice was cold, almost indifferent to the suffering Kakashi had inflicted.

Hokage Building

Meanwhile, Minato and the Sandaime Hokage were observing the battle in the crystal ball.

"This is reckless! Kakashi is using such a dangerous technique on one of his fellow villagers!" Minato's voice was full of concern as he watched the fight unfold. He was already moving to stop the duel.

Sandaime exhaled slowly, his eyes narrowed in deep thought. "Minato, wait. Yuuji won't lose easily." He paused for a moment, his gaze shifting back to the battle. "But… Kakashi is losing himself. This isn't just about a fight anymore. It's about his state of mind."

Minato's eyes darkened as he clenched his fists. "I understand. But we can't let this continue. Kakashi's becoming too dangerous."

Sandaime nodded. "Heroism is born from suffering, Minato. It's been that way since the beginning." He gave Minato a pointed look, his expression thoughtful. "Let Yuuji do this. His abilities… they're not just about power. There's something deeper at work here."

The Training Ground - Final Clash

Kakashi moved quickly, his body surrounded by the crackling blue lightning of the Chidori. His speed and focus were on another level as he lunged at Yuuji, determined to land the killing blow.

"You've already lost, Kakashi," Yuuji said, his voice cold. He stepped back with unnatural precision, evading the Chidori with ease.

Nuclear Release – Oscillating Wave!

A shockwave of devastating energy exploded from Yuuji's body, sending Kakashi hurtling through the air. The force of the blast cracked the ground beneath them, and the entire training ground seemed to tremble under the power unleashed.

Kakashi's body collided with the earth with a sickening thud. When the dust cleared, Yuuji's eyes narrowed as he realized Kakashi wasn't the one he'd struck. A shadow clone?

Before he could react, Kakashi's hand shot out from the ground, attempting to drag Yuuji into the earth with the Heart Slayer technique. But Yuuji had anticipated it. He stomped down hard, shattering the ground beneath him, and pressed his foot into Kakashi's head, pinning him to the earth.

"This little trick won't work on me. Everything you do is already within my perception, Kakashi."

Yuuji dragged the unconscious Kakashi out of the hole, his grip tight around the back of his neck, treating him as if he were nothing more than a puppet. Kakashi's eyes were wide with shock and anger. He reached for a final attack, lightning gathering in his hands as he prepared to strike.

But before he could react, a powerful, searing pain gripped his body. The chakra in his system was suddenly blocked, and his body convulsed as if it were on fire. He collapsed, coughing violently, his eyes clouded with pain and confusion.

"Do you still not realize, Kakashi?" Yuuji's voice was cold, merciless. "Before you even used the Heart Slayer technique, you were already dead."

The realization hit Kakashi as his body fell limp, his vision fading into darkness.
