Sean's carriage halted at the Magic Guild's steps. Dismissing John to wait outside, he entered the near-empty building—most nobles avoided it, and midday brought only silence.
In the library, he approached the front desk, hoping to see the red-haired librarian from before. Instead, a teenage male mage stood there, eyeing Sean's noble attire.
"May I assist you, sir?" the mage asked.
"Yes. The librarian from yesterday… the one with fiery red hair?" Sean asked.
"That's Vivian," the mage replied. "She rotates shifts with other Yorn Magic Academy students. She left for the college early this morning. Won't return for a month."
Sean's curiosity piqued. "You're classmates? Do you know if she's related to Count Rivers?"
The mage frowned. "Student identities are confidential. But if you're interested in her—good luck. Half the college is already vying for her attention."
Sean stifled a sigh. Probably just a resemblance to Jessica. Aloud, he asked: "Do you sell books here?"
"Original copies are rare, but manuscript copy are available." The mage held up a book with a circular Yorn Magic Academy seal and price tag.
"Perfect. I'll browse."
…
An hour later, Sean emerged with 30 books. John stared in surprise. "Leaving so soon, Your Highness?"
"Help me load these," Sean said, handing him the books.
John obeyed, impressed by Sean's lack of Noble arrogance. When Sean pressed a gold coin into his palm, John's eyes lit up. "Thank you, Your Highness! Most nobles wouldn't pay a servant for such a trivial task."
Sean shrugged. Motivating subordinates matters. As the carriage departed, John silently envied Windsor's position.

Back at the residence, Sean settled into the study with his new books. Though Matthew's company offered faster EXP, Sean hesitated. A Gold Rank Peak warrior hiding in Yorn for years? Best to keep distance until I understand his motives.
He opened Advanced Elemental Theory, feeling the familiar tingle of EXP accumulation. Books are slower, but safer.
