"Saved me? I died. How could have you possibly saved me?"
"When you died, I turned your body back into time and sent you to the future. I did the same with Kairos. You were never reborn."
A women thought lost, walks once more.
The first line of the prophecy. I wasn't reborn. If I was then the prophecy would state that. But it says I return, not in the form of being reborn, but my body being lost in the future.
"Isn't that against the rules of time or something?"
"Not if it was written in your fate."
Right. Fate. How was I supposed to make my choice if fate already written it out for me. To kill my father or let him live.
"Why am I here?"
"To show you the truth."
He gestured to follow him. So I did.
We went to a room I recognize.
The dungeon.
My father was there and so was a person locked up. I couldn't tell who it was. The person was cover in a black cloak, and was chained to the wall.
"You may be the Hollow King, but you were always so weak to your emotions."
The voice was of a women.
"Silence!" My father's voice boomed loud throughout the walls. "That's enough."
The women started speaking in the ancient language. Somehow, I understood it.
"By night and ash, by blood and bone,
Your will is dust, you mind my throne.
As strings to puppet, soul to bind,
Your fate, your breath, your will — now mine."
That's the translation of what she said.
My father started coughing, his eyes changed from the color of brown, to white, then to brown again. The look in his eyes changed. It turned cold.
My father was never so cold. Soft brown eyes, a scruffy brown beard with streaks of white, brown hair till his shoulders, a tall man.
"Call a meeting." He simply said to the guard and left.
"HEY! YOU'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO LEAVE ME HERE RUYAN! LET ME GO! YOU'RE UNDER MY COMMAND!" The women said, struggling to get out of the chains.
We followed my father. The council meeting. I noticed Sera next to him.
"We are now changing the rule. From here on word, I will be in control of all the people in Kyto." My father stated.
The people looked at each other, mummering and discussing.
"You're Majesty, surely you don't mean it?" One of them asked.
"You dare to oppose me?" He raised an eyebrow.
"No, your Majesty."
My father held out his hand and a purple aura from it released, going to all the minds. All but Sera's.
"I cannot control you as you're the Oracle. I trust you won't disobey me."
"I oppose this decision. This is madness." She protested.
"This isn't madness! This is power! FOR TOO LONG THE PEOPLE OF KYTO HAD TAKEN ME FOR GRANTED! Now, they won't anymore."
Sera took out her staff and pointed it at him. "I must stop you. I cannot do nothing after seeing such a sight."
Suddenly the guards came and restrained her.
"You need your eyes to see, yes?"
Another guard came with hot iron rods. It was obvious what they were going to do. So I looked away. I didn't want to see Sera suffer. I couldn't stop them, the keeper of fate and time was right next to me. I couldn't even try to. I would pass right through them like a ghost.
Sera screamed in agony.
"You're lucky that you're still alive because you're in the God's favour." My father walked away leaving Sera helpless.
She mumbled something.
"Stars... Uhar... Reylof... must protect." She springed up suddenly. She used her staff as a walking stick.
She walked towards where I were to be.
How did I not know what was going on? How was I oblivious to the whole thing? How didn't I hear Sera scream throughout the palace walls, suffering, while I didn't have a care in the world? I felt guilty.
But there was another worry.
Someone was controlling my father. Took over his mind. It seemed obvious. So my father, controlling all the people, is the who is under the influence of someone else. But why didn't he let her go when she commanded? Was there a part of him fighting? Could he still be saved?
I looked at Dunamis. Another question lingers my mind.
"That is all I wish to show. Now from here on out, whatever decision you make is not in fate's hand. You can either choose to kill your blood, or not."
My fate is in my hands from here? Why is it that when I don't want it to be, I suddenly have freedom of choosing my life? I wish someone would come and tell me what to do. Showing me this makes the decision harder.
"I shall go now, dear child."
Ask him the question. Ask him the question.
"Wait!" I finally called out.
"What is it?"
"You know how you said that you turned my body back in time and sent me to the future and stuff, right?"
"Yes, get to the point."
"If you turned my body back into time, does that mean I die at the age I was supposed to die, when that women stabbed me in the back?"
