Kruger

Kaiell, a young worker on the mining colony Rust-12, dreams of joining Kruger’s Elites, humanity’s top defense against the nightmarish Voidlings. Orphaned young and raised by his uncle Sloan—who died in a mining accident—Kaiell has spent years working in ore processing while training for the brutal recruitment trials. With his last shift behind him, he boards a shuttle to Kruger Academy, leaving behind his harsh world in pursuit of a greater destiny.
