The surface of Lake Kalian was calming after Luiz Fernando's intense training. He felt the energy of the water pulsing within him, as if his body were becoming one with the element. Lythar, the Guardian of Water, emerged from the lake once again, walking across the surface with impressive serenity. His golden eyes gleamed with ancient knowledge.
"Do you feel that, Luiz Fernando?" Lythar asked, his voice heavy with gravity.
"Yes... it's as if the water is alive inside me," Luiz replied, closing his eyes for a moment to feel the energetic flow around him.
Lythar nodded, satisfied.
"This is just the beginning. You have awakened something inside of you, something that directly connects you to the essence of the world. But now, we must go further. There is something you need to know... something that was foreseen millennia ago."
Luiz looked closely at Lythar.
"Long ago, before the worlds took their definitive form, there existed the Primordial Guardians, beings tasked with shaping the balance of the universe. Each of them was responsible for one of the fundamental elements: Water, Air, Earth, Fire, and Nature. Together, they created planets, gave life to the seas, forests, and skies. But something happened..."
Lythar paused, observing Luiz's expression. The young man was listening closely, absorbing every word.
"A darkness arose from the depths of the cosmos, an evil power that sought to consume everything, reducing the universe to chaos. To prevent this destruction, the Primordial Guardians sacrificed their physical bodies and sealed their spirits within the elements they governed, falling into a deep slumber for ages."
Luiz felt a shiver run through his body.
"And now, I need to awaken them?"
Lythar nodded.
"Yes. You have already awakened me, and with that, your power has increased. Because, Luiz, your power does not come from a single element... It comes from the very Core of the Universe."
Luiz's eyes widened.
"The Core of the Universe?"
"Yes. The Blue Guardian is not only a leader among the Guardians... He is the manifestation of the primordial power that keeps all of existence in balance. Every time you awaken a Guardian, you reclaim a part of the strength that was dormant within them. With me awakened, water now flows within you. But there are still others to be freed."
Lythar raised his hand, and a portal began to form before them. A vortex of blue and emerald energy spun in the air, revealing a starry sky and a colossal forest, where trees glowed with greenish lights, pulsing as if they were alive.
"This is the planet Sylvaria, home to Lilia, the Guardian of Nature. The enchanted forest breathes with the energy of the universe, but something is keeping it asleep. We must awaken her."
Luiz nodded, feeling a growing excitement. With each Guardian awakened, his power would grow. And with that, he would finally be able to prepare for the darkness that was approaching.
Without hesitation, he and Lythar stepped through the portal.
The air around them shifted instantly. In Sylvaria, the forest was unlike anything Luiz had ever seen. Giant trees stretched up to the sky, their leaves glowing in golden and green hues. The wind whispered as if it were alive, and the ground pulsed with pure energy. But at the same time, a shadow loomed over the center of the forest, where a colossal tree, much larger than the others, stood.
"Lilia is there," Lythar said, pointing to the sacred tree.
But as they drew closer, a roar echoed through the forest. The roots began to stir, and shadowy shapes emerged from the earth. Something did not want Lilia to be awakened.
Luiz took a deep breath, feeling the energy within him. He knew that with each battle, with each Guardian awakened, his power would grow stronger. But now, he would have to prove that he was ready to carry the true burden of the Blue Guardian.
The battle for Lilia's liberation was about to begin.
