Chapter 3: The Disguise of Deceit

In the bustling district of Chiyoda, a man dressed in black, wearing a pair of glasses, stood in front of a police station, gripping a heavy gray suitcase in his hand.

As he blended into the city's rhythm, a dark silhouette against the backdrop of the neon lights and busy streets. As he took a deep breath, preparing himself to proceed with his mission.

Then a mother and her young daughter accidentally bumped into him, causing him to drop his glasses into the ground.

"I'm so sorry for the inconvenience sir. Please forgive us" She said, bowing her head, apologizing, her face flustered with embarrassment.

The man looked down his expression neutral, as he kneeled down picking up his glasses. "No, No, It's alright I don't mind at all." He replied softly, his voice clam.

Then the little girl beside her raised her head peering up at the man with wide eyes, suddenly blurted out "Mommy, Mommy, this man looks wearied!" 

The comment hit the man like a sting, but he masked any sign of irritation. The mother horrified, quickly apologized again. "I'm terribly sorry, for my daughter's rough behavior."

He shook his head, offering a tight-lipped-smile. "Like I said before, It's fine" he replied, his tone a mix of patience and resignation.

After that, they exchanged a few polite words before both the mother and her child continued on their way, leaving the man behind.

As he watched them leave, and for a brief moment, a fleeting hints of sadness in his eyes, before he steeled himself and entered the police station.

Inside the man approached the front desk, the suitcase feeling heavier with each step. He said, "I found this on the ground outside and I believe that someone might have lost it" he said, placing the suitcase on the counter.

The police officer behind the desk glanced at the suitcase, then at then at the mam himself. "Thank you for bringing it in, if you would please fill out this lost and found from." He instructed, pushing a clipboard towards him.

The man then filled in the form meticulously. Once done, he handed it back to the police officer and walked towards the stations exit, his footsteps echoing in the sterile corridors.

As he stepped outside the station, a strange ticking noise began to fill the room behind him. The police officer, engrossed in paper work, initially did not notice it at all. However, the noise grew louder, more insistently.

Meanwhile, the man in black reached a car that was parked a short distance away from the station. He claimed in and turned on the engine, after he began to drive away.

As he drove off, his phone suddenly begun rigging. Answering the phone, he heard a clam voice on the other end asked, "So?"

As he kept on driving, he suddenly approached a red light; forced him to stop, he began tapping his finger impatiently on the steering wheel. Back at the police station, one of the officers inside had deiced to investigate the suitcase. With cautious hands, he attempted to open it, only to have been meet with an unexpected sight.

Back inside the car, the man in black glanced at the review mirror, a faint smile played on his lips as the traffic light turned green. "It's done." He said, glancing at the police station.

Then suddenly, the police station erupted in a massive explosion, flames and debris shooting into the sky.

The blast's shockwave rattled the whole area, causing chaos and confusion among the bystanders. "Fi-fire. Somebody quick, call for help." They yelled, as there screams cover the area, panicking as they rushed to call firefighter and emergency services.

Then as the traffic light there green, the man in black drove away calmly, the screams and chaos fading into the distance, his eyes fixed on the road ahead.

In the midst of the confusion, the man in black continued driving away from the senses, blending into the seamlessly the flow of traffic. His mission had been complete, and as the sounds of sirens began to fill the air, he calmly, disappeared into the city's labyrinthine street, leaving behind a trail of distraction and confusion in the midst.
