Chapter 5: Roman's Realization

It was the end of another good day. He got to take Isabella out on a date. Plus, he and Morgan were able to work things out.

Today is Monday. It is time to lock in and conduct some business. He needs to maximize the system. He called the real estate listed on the multi-family home. He was able to schedule a tour for 1:30pm.

"System how long before I can use my passive income skill?" Roman questioned.

"Passive income will be available for use in 4 days." The system voice replied.

So Roman would be able to collect $100,000 this Friday. That brought a smile to his face. The listing price on the multi-family home is $50,000. With the reward from the system and passive income activation of Friday his account balance will be over $300,000.

He had time before his appointment. He thought about taking Isabella and the twins out for breakfast. Right when he was going to send her a text message his phone rang. He was surprised to hear Morgan's voice on the other end.

"Hey, Roman I got your number from Izzy. I hope that's okay." Morgan said.

"Nothing much I wanted to know if you had any plans today."

"I have an appointment at 1:30 but I am free after that."

"Okay well as you know Izzy birthday is coming up and I really want to get something special. Do you have any ideas?"

"Izzy really loves jewelry."

"That's true. Can we meet up and you help me pick something out?"

 "Sure thing let's meet at 3pm."

 "Alright I'll see you then sexy."

 Morgan hung up the phone. Leaving Roman puzzled.

 "Did she really just call me sexy?" 

 Roman brushed off his confusion. He needed to prepare for his appointment. It wasn't a full suit type of day. So, he pulled out his powder blue shirt and black pants. He paired that with black wingtips.

 He sent Isabella a text. She was busy at work. Monday is her early start day. She wouldn't be off until late. As Roman was getting ready for the day. He heard Heather screaming again. This time there was a loud thud. The sound sent a chill down his spine. He immediately ran up to check on her. Heather opened the door. Roman could see Richard on the floor.  She had a frying pan in her hand. She dropped it when she opened the door. She jumped into Roman's arms. She started sobbing. Richard came after her. She was able to get away. She hit him with the pan. Richard was groaning on the floor, so Roman knew he was alive.

 Roman took Heather to his apartment. He offered to let her stay. Heather agreed she didn't have anywhere else to go. Roman gave her strict instructions for when he left.

 "Only open the door for Isabella."

 Heather nodded. Her eyes filled with tears. She couldn't believe how nice Roman was being. She couldn't shake the feeling that he had alterative motives. After all, in her experience men are only this nice when they want something.

 "Would it be wrong for me to ask why he is being so nice?" Heather thought to herself.

"Roman I don't want to seem rude or ungrateful. But why are you doing this?" Heather exclaimed.

Roman wanted to try and lighten the mood. He couldn't stand to see should a pretty woman in this kind of pain.

 "Because I want to fuck you of course. Isn't that the only reason men do anything?" Roman said with a sinister grin.

 "I'm just picking on you by the way."

 He could see the relief on Heather's face. It's true that Heather is incredibly sexy. Roman isn't a vulture. He doesn't prey on women in hard situations. He genuinely wants to help Heather. Whatever happens because of that happens.

 It is 1:00pm and time for him to leave. He gives Heather his cell number just in case. He tells her he will be back in a couple hours.

 Isabella received a text from Morgan.

 Roman was driving in his car when his phone rang. It is Isabella.

 "On my way to a meeting. What about you?"

 "On lunch."

 "Okay make sure you eat and don't just sit there and watch reality tv."

 Isabella knew Roman was smirking on the other side of the phone.

 Roman pulled up to the property to see the real estate agent standing outside. He is a short chubby man with a beard.

 "Hi I'm Ben Rockwell."

 "How's it going Ben? I'm Roman thank you for taking the time to show me the property."

The men shook hands and entered the property. It needs a lot of work which would explain the low-price tag. The walls have holes, the floors need work. The bathroom and kitchen need to be updated. The bedrooms could also use some work.

 The tour concluded with a handshake. Ben promised to reach out as soon as the seller replied to him. Roman nodded entering his car and driving away. It is almost time to meet Morgan.

 Morgan was getting ready to leave. Of course, Logan was ignoring her. His dick wasn't hard, so Logan didn't care what Morgan was doing. Morgan stood in the bathroom debating. Panties or no panties. Roman pulled into the parking lot. He found a place to park and headed to the food court.

It took a few minutes, but they finally met up. Roman and Morgan stood outside the jewelry store.

Morgan smiled. She didn't say anything.
