I dressed and handed him a business card.
"If you need anything, just give me a call. Don't worry, I'll make sure you're taken care of."
After the man left, I added him as a friend and transferred some money to him.
Turns out his name was Zoran.
With such great conditions, it's a shame he used to only perform but not sell his body in the past.
Alec and Delia's chat messages kept flashing.
Tomorrow is Valentine's Day.
As the official darling, how could I not go check things out?
I stood at the door of Alec's apartment, watching the elevator numbers climb, and casually knocked on the door.
"Forgot your key?"
The elevator doors and apartment door opened simultaneously, with a man and woman on either side looking at me in shock.
"Honey?" I smiled sweetly, taking off my high heels as I heard the panicked sound of someone rushing into the elevator behind me.
"Didn't expect me to come?"
Alec had already regained his composure.
"If you hadn't come, I was going to pick you up. It's Valentine's Day, and I was worried you'd forget. Do you like how I decorated?"
The girlish pink decor throughout the apartment was completely at odds with my style. How could he so shamelessly utter such brazen words?
"Honey, are you treating me like a little girl?" I sat down, watching him take out the cake, casually draping my long legs over the couch.
"That girl from earlier must have gotten off on the wrong floor. She was dressed so nicely, she must have been going on a date with her boyfriend."
Alec's hand paused as he was cutting the cake.
"Probably so."
As night fell, Alec said he still had some work to do. I lay in bed, watching as his chat with Delia kept flashing.
Delia: "Why did she come today? Didn't you promise you'd only be with me?" Her voice message was slurred, obviously drunk.
Delia sent a photo of a bar. "Can you come keep me company now? I feel awful, please come be with me."
Alec: "I really can't leave right now. Can you take a cab home?"
I found the location of Delia's bar and made a phone call to give some instructions.
Since you like to play so much, I'll play along with you.
Half an hour later, I pushed open the bedroom door to see Alec anxiously looking for clothes.
"Honey, are you going out? Let me come with you."
"No, I'm just picking out what to wear tomorrow," Alec quickly changed his tune.
"Hurry up and go to sleep, we have to get up early tomorrow."
Alec lay in bed with an unnatural expression, his phone screen still lit but muted.
"Which client is being so annoying?" I asked him.
"Probably that electronics company again, wanting revisions to the draft."
"How irritating." I sat up, took his phone, turned it off, and tucked it under my pillow.
"Ignore them, let's sleep."
The next day, Alec and I went to work together. I saw him reply to Delia's messages while he was in the bathroom.
Delia: "Why did you ignore me all night? I was alone at the bar and someone took advantage of me, did you know that?"
Delia was frantically sending messages, crying uncontrollably. Alec could only hastily offer a few words of comfort.
These past few days, I've been inseparable from Alec, leaving him little chance to chat with Delia.
"I think my darling is starting to suspect something. Let's just end this and not contact each other anymore."
Then he blocked and deleted her.
Quite decisive.
Delia pretended to be an innocent flower in front of Alec, but in reality, she was a party girl who frequented bars.
