Weixin's Meeting with Ken's Parents and the Subsequent Development

On the weekend, Ken encouraged Zhuang Bao to take Sue to visit the scenic spots near Taipei. The suggestion of soaking in hot springs was strongly supported by Sue. However, Weixin had no interest in it at all and said he would definitely not participate.

So Ken kindly suggested taking Weixin to visit musical instrument stores and an information exhibition.

So they split into two groups. Early in the morning, the two women happily went out!

However, as soon as they walked out of the door, Weixin asked, "Why did you send them away? And you even encouraged them to stay out overnight? There must be a plot." Weixin looked at Ken.

Ken was surprised to find that this kid had such a sharp intuition. "I'm going to sell you. Are you scared?" Ken said deliberately because he always felt that Weixin's side was really like Isaiah.

Weixin just quietly examined him. He found that there was a kind of pride in Ken's expression, and there was also a special excitement and anticipation. Tsk! Could it be that Ken already knew his own identity in this family!

No wonder he had been a little less clingy to his mom in the past two days. Also, the way he talked to Weixin had less of a probing tone and more of an authoritative tone.

Hey! He had thought that Ken had gotten carried away with teaching him the violin.

"Come on, how long have you known that I'm your biological son?" Weixin asked as he walked back to his own room. He said this on purpose to make Ken think that he didn't really care whether Ken knew it or not.

"You..." This kid was even scarier in his cleverness. "You have no fun as a little kid at all. Really! You're not cute," Ken complained.

"You have to accept it even if I'm not cute. Hehe! Who asked you to have a soft spot for my mom?" Weixin didn't mind his complaint at all and responded naughtily.

"Sigh! I have a son like you who always beats around the bush to deceive his father. I really don't know whether it's a blessing or a misfortune," Ken sat in the living room and sighed. "Kid, at least call me dad once to satisfy me." This kid was really hard to deal with.

"Do you want a hug to move people to tears by the way?" Weixin said with a twitch of his mouth, showing his reluctance. "Are you going out or not?"

"Forget it. When you meet my parents later, don't be stingy. Calling them grandpa and grandma won't make you lose a piece of flesh," Ken could only admit defeat to him.

"They're here? How many days have they been here? Why did they come to see me but not my mom? There's something wrong. My mom is the one who's going to marry you," Weixin immediately sensed something strange.

"Please don't be like Sherlock Holmes, okay? Dress properly and talk to them when you meet them later, okay?" Ken had to urge him to change his clothes quickly and stop talking so much.

As a result, they met in Ken's private penthouse suite on the top floor of the company.

Really! Weixin had thought he could get a delicious meal.

"Is this where you work? You even have a dedicated elevator," Weixin pouted. "Why did you choose this place? Are we having a meeting?"

"They said this was a private matter and it wasn't appropriate to talk in a public place," Ken shrugged.

"What? Am I not presentable or..." Actually, Weixin was a little nervous.

"Kid!" Ken raised his fist and tapped his head, of course, it was just a light tap with a lot of show but little substance. "Don't be so disrespectful later. It's very impolite."

"Ouch! You always tap my head. One day I'll become stupid because of you," Weixin held his head and complained with no one to listen to him.

"You asked for it," Ken said.

"So you have a tendency to be violent,哼," Weixin said.

"Stop fooling around. We're here," Ken said.

"Wow! So many books. This is great!" The moment the elevator door opened, Weixin was only attracted by the bookshelves on both sides that extended to the end of the corridor. So he automatically ran forward and happily browsed the collection of books.

Ken just let Weixin look at the books he liked and turned to the outside balcony himself. He guessed that his parents were probably enjoying the flowers and drinking tea on the balcony. They had moved here from the hotel last night.

Sure enough.

"Good morning, Dad, Mom. Weixin is here," Ken bent down and gave his mother a kiss.

"Where?" She really looked a lot like Sue, but she was less mischievous and more charming. Although she was almost sixty, she was still very attractive. She looked behind Ken, but there was no one there.

"He's in the book corridor," Ken also gave his father a hug. "Dad, Weixin has something in common with you, which is that he likes reading."

"Liking reading is a good thing. Good, good, very good!" Old Mr. Brian nodded and smiled with satisfaction.

"What are you still standing here for? Hurry up and take us to find him," Eve Lin Brian couldn't hold back any longer. She had long wanted to meet this smart grandson that everyone was talking about.

"Don't be in a hurry, Eve," Old Mr. Brian took his wife's hand. "Let's take a look from a distance to see if he looks more like you or me."

"Okay!" Eve smiled and looked up.

Ken envied his parents for being so affectionate, but he also had Baobao. He smiled with satisfaction.

As soon as the three of them entered the room, they saw the small figure sitting on the ground and starting to read.

"Sigh, the profile of him reading looks so much like you," Eve's eyes glistened.

"It doesn't matter who he looks like. As long as he looks like me," Ken knew that his mom was about to be moved to tears! If he didn't say something light-hearted, she would definitely be out of control.

Although Weixin was reading, his ears were also paying attention. As soon as he heard the voices, he immediately raised his head. But he didn't want to stand there and be judged, so he pointed to the five or six books that he had just taken out and placed on the ground.

"Can I borrow these books and take them home to read? Um... Dad?" Weixin asked when he saw Ken. But since he was borrowing something from others! He had to please them, so calling him dad should be okay, right?

"Kid, did you forget what I just said? Why are you still sitting on the ground?" Ken was secretly delighted but also pretended to be stern.

"Um... I don't know how to speak French," Weixin had to admit that he didn't understand French.

"It doesn't matter. It's already great for me that you can speak English. We'll teach you French, and you can learn it slowly in the future," Old Mr. Brian happily replied to him in English. Although he himself didn't like speaking English very much, for the convenience of his grandson, he could tolerate it.

"You can speak Chinese with me," Eve couldn't help but step forward and pull Weixin up. "How old are you?"

"Um... Grandma, I'm seven years old... Ouch!" Weixin somewhat regretted calling her grandma. As soon as she heard it, she hugged him so tightly that he almost couldn't breathe.

As a result, they really staged a scene of recognizing their ancestors and returning to their clan with tears flowing.

Later, Zhuang Weixin really betrayed his mom.

On that afternoon, he led the three adults and went back to Kaohsiung together! And they even stayed for one night.

Because Eve was Chinese, and also because Ken was Weixin's father, the parents on both sides got familiar with each other soon.

After a pleasant dinner, the two grandmothers started planning the wedding. Old Mr. Brian was left with Weixin, and of course, Zhuang Bao's father was accompanied by Ken.

These things were, of course, the secrets between the father and son!
