After leaving the hostel, Leon couldn't shake off the image of the girl he had bumped into. He sat in his room, scrolling through his phone, the memory of her dark eyes and confident stance replaying in his mind.
"She didn't even care…" he muttered to himself, a small smirk playing on his lips. He wasn't used to that. Most girls he encountered either blushed or stammered, but she? She just walked away as if nothing happened.
Curiosity got the better of him, and he opened a social media app, typing "Lemon" into the search bar. Instantly, hundreds of profiles popped up. His smirk faded.
"How the hell am I supposed to find her?" he sighed, running a hand through his hair. He didn't even know her last name. Giving up, he tossed his phone on the bed and lay down, staring at the ceiling.
Meanwhile, back in the girls dorm, Lemon sat at her desk, absentmindedly tapping her pen against her notebook. Her mind kept drifting back to the moment in the corridor—the warmth of his arms catching her, the way his ocean-blue eyes looked at her.
"What am I even thinking?" she scoffed at herself, shaking her head. "It was just an accident."
Just then, Scarlett plopped down next to her, grinning like a fox. "Look who I found on social media," she sang, shoving her phone in Lemon's face.
Lemon blinked and glanced at the screen. It was Leon.
"So?" she shrugged.
Scarlett smirked. "So? That's all you have to say?"
Another voice joined in—Evelyn. "Oh, come on, Lemon. We know you're thinking about him."
Lemon rolled her eyes. "I am NOT—"
Before she could finish, Autumn snatched the phone from Scarlett's hand. "Let's see what happens if we…" She grinned mischievously and clicked the 'Send Friend Request' button.
Lemon's eyes widened. "What the hell, Autumn? I don't care, but—"
Hazel cackled. "That's your phone, dumbo."
Lemon practically jumped from her chair. "WHAT?!"
At that exact moment, a notification popped up on her screen. The girls huddled around her phone, staring at it in shock.
"He…he accepted it," Evelyn whispered dramatically.
The room exploded into screams, the girls jumping and squealing like they had just witnessed the biggest plot twist in a romance novel.
Lemon, meanwhile, froze in her seat. "H-He did what?"
Leon's POV
I was lying on my bed, scrolling through my phone mindlessly, when a notification popped up.
Lemon Elise Carter sent you a friend request.
I gasped, my eyes widening. So… her name is Lemon Elise Carter.
A small, amused smile crept onto my lips. Without a second thought, I tapped 'Accept.' I didn't even hesitate. I didn't know why, but I just did.
And somehow, I had a feeling this was just the beginning.
