Chapter 7 Power Awakens

The Mecha remained standing, despite being shaken by Violet's attack. From within the cockpit, the reptilian leader laughed loudly, his voice echoing through the speakers. "Look how pathetic you all are! A dragon willing to sacrifice itself for others. Truly disgraceful!"

Violet, hearing the insult, felt her anger surge. Her body trembled, and her telekinetic power grew stronger. The stones around her began to vibrate, rising into the air at a threatening speed. A purple energy radiated from her body, forming a powerful shield around her.

"Zorak, hold on!" Violet shouted, her voice booming.

Zorak, despite his injuries, looked at Violet with trust. "I believe in you, Violet. Show them your strength!"

Violet surged forward, her telekinesis emitting a bright purple aura. The Mecha tried to defend with an energy shield, but Violet's power was too much. Her shield slammed into the Mecha with tremendous force, knocking it back.

The Mecha tumbled several times before finally coming to a stop, but it was still able to rise. The reptilian leader inside the cockpit began to show signs of panic but still ordered the attack. The Mecha fired lasers from its hands and chest, attempting to destroy Violet's shield.

However, Violet's purple shield was so strong that it easily deflected every shot. Violet focused her energy, lifting large rocks from the ground and hurling them with high speed at the Mecha. The rocks struck the Mecha with overwhelming force, creating an explosion that shook the ground around them.

The Mecha tried again to attack, swinging its massive arm toward Violet. But Violet swiftly dodged, using her telekinesis to slide to the side. With a quick move, she launched a counterattack, directing a storm of dust and small rocks toward the Mecha, obscuring its vision and confusing it.

"Now!" Elara shouted, analyzing the Mecha's weakness. "Violet, aim for its energy core!"

Violet saw the opportunity and focused all her telekinetic power into one spot. With a decisive motion, she created a large purple energy spear, projecting it directly at the Mecha's core. The energy spear pierced through the Mecha's shield and struck its energy core with incredible force.

A massive explosion occurred, and the Mecha erupted in flames and debris, destroying the cockpit and ending the life of the reptilian leader. The attack ended the threat, leaving the oasis in silence after the explosion.

Zorak, though severely wounded, smiled with relief. "You did it, Violet. You protected us all."

Violet, panting but determined, ran to Zorak and hugged him. "We made it, Zorak. We're alive."

Elara added in a calm tone, "We must remain vigilant, but for now, we have won. We will stay here until everything is safe."

In the ensuing silence, Violet, Zorak, and Elara realized how strong their bond had become. Although there were still many challenges to face, they knew that together, they could overcome anything that came their way.

Seeing Zorak's severe injuries, Violet raised her hand, feeling her newfound telekinetic power.

"Zorak, hold on! I will heal you," Violet said, her voice trembling but full of determination.

With full concentration, Violet focused her telekinetic energy on Zorak's wounds. Purple light emanated from her hands, surrounding Zorak's body and starting to heal his injuries. Zorak groaned softly as the pain slowly faded, and his wounds began to close.

Violet was astonished by her ability. "I... I can heal you," she said in awe. "Elara, analyze this power. What's happening?"

Elara immediately responded, "Analyzing now, Violet. Results will be ready shortly."

Zorak opened his large eyes, feeling his strength gradually returning. "Violet, I feel so much better. Your power is incredible."

Elara finished her analysis and continued her explanation. "Violet, the telekinesis power you gained from the rare mineral seems far more complex than we initially thought. In addition to lifting and controlling objects, you also possess a significant healing ability. The telekinetic energy you're using induces cell regeneration at an incredibly fast rate."

Violet nodded, still amazed at what she had done. "So, I can heal wounds just by using this energy?"

"Exactly," Elara replied. "This ability is rare and extraordinary. It shows the immense potential of the mineral you consumed."

Zorak, now standing tall, wagged his tail happily. "This means we have more power to survive on this planet. Thank you, Violet."

Violet smiled, feeling relieved to see Zorak recovering. "We need to be cautious moving forward. Our enemies may return, and we must be ready."

Elara added, "We must ensure this place remains safe. I'll activate surveillance and automatic defenses around the oasis to prevent any surprise attacks."

Violet nodded in agreement. "Alright. Let's strengthen our defenses here and make sure we all stay safe. I'll also continue to train and develop this new power. We'll fight whatever comes."

Zorak and Elara agreed with Violet's plan. They knew that with Violet's newfound abilities and the strong bond between them, they had a greater chance of surviving and protecting the oasis that had become their temporary home. Together, they faced the future with determination and hope, ready for whatever challenges lay ahead.

After things had calmed down, Zafir arrived in his Mecha suit, his body encased in machinery, with wings attached to his hips that allowed him to move freely on the surface. As he emerged from the storm swept from the middle of the sea, he was startled to see thick smoke over Violet's residence and immediately rushed to them.

"Zafir, why are you here?" Violet asked, trying to suppress her worry.

Zafir scanned the surroundings sharply, trying to understand the situation. "I saw smoke from a distance and rushed here. Is everything okay?"

Violet explained the situation that had just unfolded, detailing the attack they had faced and the protection efforts they were undertaking. Then, she looked at Zafir's advanced gear and asked, "Zafir, what kind of advanced equipment is this? You seem highly advanced down there in the depths of the sea."

Zafir smiled proudly. "This is special equipment I designed to explore and survive in the extreme depths of the ocean. With this gear, I can explore areas that are hard to reach and conduct deeper research."

Zafir quickly delivered surprising news. "Violet, I've come to bring bad news. The mineral you consumed is actually just a regular stone mineral with no value on this planet."

Violet was stunned. "What? But how is that possible? I was certain that mineral was extremely valuable on my home planet."

Zafir shook his head. "It turns out, that mineral holds no value here. But, this opens up a new perspective for us. What might be worthless in one place can be valuable somewhere else. It's an important lesson for all of us."

Violet paused, reflecting on the implications of this discovery. "Yes, you're right. It teaches us not to underestimate something that might seem insignificant in one place. Thank you for bringing this information, Zafir. It means a lot to us."

Then, Violet invited Zafir to enter the oasis. Upon arriving, Zafir was astonished by the sight of the oasis.

"Wow, this is incredible," Zafir said, his voice filled with awe as his eyes took in the surroundings.

Violet smiled proudly. "We've worked hard to make this oasis a comfortable and safe place for all of us."

Zafir stepped further into the oasis, allowing the beauty of the natural surroundings to sink into his heart. "This is truly amazing. I never imagined that in the midst of this harsh planet, there could be such a beautiful place."

Violet nodded in agreement. "We've worked hard to keep this oasis as a refuge for us."

They both wandered around the oasis, enjoying its natural beauty and sharing stories of their journeys. With Zafir's presence, Violet felt more confident that they had an ally they could rely on to protect the oasis from any threats that might come.
