Dragon Type Dubwool

It's been exactly 8 months since Rei got back from the forest meaning he is now 10 years and 9 months old.

And today, Rey is inside a cave. The cave was massive, a labyrinth of stone and water carved by time.

Rei moved with purpose, his eyes locked onto the underground river that snaked through the cavern. The air was thick with the scent of damp earth and something else—something ancient.

He wasn't here for treasure.

He was here for the remains of a dragon.

According to a record in a book that he bought in the blacl market, a powerful dragon-type Pokémon had perished here centuries ago.

Its body had fallen into this river, its blood mixing with the water, causing the Magikarp that lived here to inherit dragonic traits—making them evolve into stronger, more ferocious Gyarados.

And if the rumors were true…

Then somewhere in this cavern, a Dragon Crystal—a fragment of that ancient being—still remained.

Rei reached out with his aura sense, feeling for any unusual energy.

Then, he found it.

A powerful pulse resonated from the depths of the river.

But there was a problem.

A colossal Gyarados lay coiled atop the rocks near the water's edge, blocking his path.

Its scales were battle-worn, scars crisscrossing its body like the marks of a thousand battles.

This wasn't just any Gyarados.

This was the undisputed ruler of the cave.

Rei narrowed his eyes.

"Guess I don't have a choice."

He picked up a rock—and threw it at the Gyarados' face.

Thunk.

The stone bounced off Gyarados' forehead.

For a second, there was silence.

Then—

A deep, rumbling growl filled the cavern.

The Gyarados' red eyes snapped open, pupils narrowing into slits.

It lifted its head, jaws parting, revealing rows of razor-sharp teeth.

Then, with an ear-splitting roar, it surged forward.

A wall of water erupted behind it, the cavern shaking from its sheer power.

Rei's Poké Balls snapped open.

"Let's go!"

Four pokemon appeared

1. Staraptor – Mid-Gym Level. With a sharp cry, it shot into the air, wings cutting through the wind like blades.

2. Wooloo – Still elite but nearing Gym Level.

Blue energy flickered around its wool as it prepared a Dragon Rage attack.

3. Rockruff – NewElite level

Its paws glowed with heat, the ground beneath it turning into molten embers.

4. Mankey – New Elite kevel

It vanished in a blink, teleporting onto a high ledge, waiting for the perfect strike.

The Gyarados lunged, its massive body twisting through the air as it fired a Hydro Pump.

A torrent of water rushed forward like a cannon blast.

"Dodge!" Rei shouted.

Staraptor rolled midair, narrowly avoiding the blast.

Rockruff leaped sideways, the force of the impact shaking the ground.

Wooloo planted its feet, conjuring a swirling vortex of energy.

BOOM!

The water slammed into the rock wall, shattering it into fragments.

But before Gyarados could attack again—

"Aerial Ace!"command Rei

Staraptor dove like a missile, a trail of white energy streaking behind it.

Its wings became blades, slicing across Gyarados' face in a single, devastating strike.

SLASH!

The sea dragon roared in fury, thrashing violently.

But it wasn't done.

With a flick of its tail, it sent a wave of debris flying—aimed directly at Rockruff.

"Hot Rocks!"Command Rei. A new move created with fire and rock attribute.

Rockruff slammed its paws down, the ground cracking apart, releasing superheated stones.

The rocks collided midair, exploding into a shower of embers.

Gyarados snarled.

It opened its maw, charging a Hyper Beam.

"Dragon Rage!" Rei commanded.

Wooloo launched a swirling sphere of blue fire, colliding with the beam before it could fully form.

A shockwave rippled through the cave, but—

The Gyarados suddenly twisted its body—lightning fast.

In a blur, it whipped its tail around, slamming into Wooloo and Rockruff with bone-crushing force.

Both Pokémon were sent flying, smashing against the cave floor.

Rei clenched his fists.

"Mankey, now!"

Mankey vanished.

A flash of light—

Then, it reappeared directly above Gyarados' head.

Its fists glowed with psychic energy.

Then, with a battle cry, it dropped like a meteor, slamming a glowing fist into Gyarados' skull.

A shockwave exploded outward.

Gyarados let out a strangled roar.

It wavered.

Then—

With one final, thunderous crash, it collapsed into the river.

The cavern was silent.

They had won.

Rei let out a slow breath, stepping toward the Dragon Crystal that had been buried beneath the riverbed. While staraptor hunts for the other Gyarados.

It pulsed with ancient power.

This was it.

"Rockruff, heat it up."

Rockruff stepped forward, placing its burning-hot paws onto the crystal.

The surface melted, turning into a thick, glowing liquid.

Rei carefully mixed it with rare ingredients, crafting a single potent potion.

Then, he turned to Wooloo.

"Drink it."

Wooloo didn't hesitated, then took a sip. Immediately, its body began to shake.

A blue aura surrounded Wooloo, its wool hardening into something stronger.

But suddenly—

Its energy flickered, like a flame about to go out.

The evolution was failing.

Rei didn't think.

He grabbed Wooloo's wool, channeling his own energy into it, connecting Woolo with Rei.

And in that moment—He saw something.

A long time ago—

Regirock, the divine titan of stone, had attempted to create new Regis.

Regice was born from eternal ice.

Registeel was crafted from divine metal.

Regidrago… was a failure.

The crystal meant to create Regidrago had shattered into fragments.

One piece had been swallowed by a Gyarados—who later died in this cave.

And now—

That same power was flowing into Wooloo.

Rei clenched his teeth, pouring every ounce of his willpower into stabilizing the evolution.

"Come on…!"

The cave shook.

A roar echoed through the chamber.

And in a burst of light—

Wooloo stood up, changed.

It evolve and finally broke through to the Gym Level.

It was no longer just a Wooloo.

It was the first Dragon-Type Dubwool in the world. It's aptitute also became dark blue, probably due to the dragon crystal still having Regirock's divine power. And so the story continued.
