The sun hung high in the sky, casting warm golden light over the freshly bought land. The soft scent of earth and grass mixed with the crisp breeze.
It was a beautiful day—perfect for starting something new.
Rei recently bought the land near elise's farm inclueding theos's house. He demolish everything with the help of Lycanrock and now he is going to build a fruit farm.
Rei stood in the middle of the field, rolling up his sleeves.
"Alright, you two," he said, glancing at Swampert and Hanuape, "I'm going to teach you how to plant properly. We're making a fruit farm, so take this seriously."
Swampert gave a determined grunt, while Hanuape, the bald Primeape with snow-white fur and a third eye, yawned lazily.
Sitting on Rei's head, Mimikyu swayed slightly, its hidden eyes observing everything. It didn't care about farming, but it liked watching Rei work.
High above, Staraptor circled the land, sharp eyes scanning for any potential threats.
Meanwhile, Lycanroc was hard at work, using its claws to carve logs and stones into the foundation of a house. It worked in silence, fully focused.
And Dubwool?
Rei glanced toward the nearby barn, where Dubwool was… busy.
Very busy.
Two female Dubwool surrounded him, tails wagging, while Arnold, Elise's father stood nearby, watching in shock.
Arnold shook his head. "Kid, I knew your Dubwool was strong, but I wasn't expecting… this level of enthusiasm."
Rei smirked and screamed across the farm."He's motivated."
"Motivated? More like unstoppable." Arnold sighed, glancing at the female Dubwool, who were already nuzzling against Rei's Dubwool. "If this keeps up, I'm going to have an entire army of Dragon-type Dubwool."
Rei just shrugged and answerd while shouting " I son't know... I mean the stronger the pokemon the harder to have children. And Dubwool is a heavenly king level pokemon while his mates are just normal."
Back at the field, Swampert had started digging holes with its massive hands.
"Good," Rei nodded. "Now, Hanuape, your turn. Place the seeds inside."
Hanuape scratched its head. "Why do I have to do the delicate work?"
"Because Swampert is too strong and will crush them," Rei explained.
"Hmph."
Despite its complaints, Hanuape carefully placed each seed into the soil.
"Now, water them," Rei instructed.
Swampert nodded, using Muddy Water to hydrate the ground without drowning the seeds.
Rei smiled. "Perfect."
Suddenly, a loud THUD echoed from the construction site.
They all turned.
Lycanroc stood beside a half-built wooden house, panting. The structure was coming along well, but it was clear Lycanroc was pushing itself.
Rei walked over, patting Lycanroc's head. "Good work. We'll have a proper place to sleep soon."
Lycanroc wagged its tail, pleased.
Looking around at his Pokémon, Rei took a deep breath.
A fruit farm.
A home.
For the first time, he was building something permanent.
And it felt… right.
