Chapter 1

My husband drugged me, causing the flight I was piloting with 362 people to all die.

Just before the plane was about to crash into the mountain, he and his mistress jumped from the plane with parachutes.

Amidst the cries of the passengers' loved ones, I opened my eyes again, returning to the day of the plane crash.

Living life over, I will change fate and bring 362 people safely home, and make them pay the price!

I gasped for air, the sound of the explosion and feeling of suffocation still enveloping me.

I sat in the cockpit, with Nolan, my husband and the co-pilot for this flight, beside me. His lover, Jolene, was the flight attendant for this trip.

I immediately stood up to check, and by now the plane was filled with passengers.

A little girl saw me and pointed, saying, "Grandma Frost, why is her uniform different from the pretty ladies'? It's so cool!"

The elderly woman patted her head and nodded at me, "Callie, that's the captain, a hero of the skies."

Instantly, the little girl's eyes sparkled, "Wow! When I grow up, I want to be just like this lady and protect everyone!"

Hearing this, it felt as if a huge stone was pressing down on my heart.

Looking at these passengers, I felt even more remorseful for falling into the trap set by those two, endangering everyone on board.

In my previous life, when the plane reached 29,500 feet, Nolan had drugged my water, causing me to instantly lose consciousness and collapse in the cockpit.

With no one at the controls, the plane plummeted rapidly until it crashed into the mountain.Anguished cries filled the entire cabin. In the final seconds, many passengers were sent airborne, colliding with each other.

"Callie, you're safe in Grandma Frost's arms."

"Mom, I can't come back. Take good care of yourselves, you and Dad."

"Darling, I'll always love you. I'm sorry, please find someone good to marry."

I slowly made my way back to the cockpit, my steps heavy as lead.

Nolan, noticing my sadness, gently supported me.

"Darling, why so glum? After our shift, I'll take you out for fondue."

As Nolan continued his charade, I felt chilled to the bone.

I met Nolan after becoming a captain, and he's been my co-pilot ever since.

He pursued me for years, and though I thought I wouldn't fall easily into a relationship, he won me over. We got married not long after getting together.

Snapping back to reality, I looked at the man before me, feigning tenderness, and replied coolly.

"Sure, I'll go check things first. If all's clear, we can request takeoff from the tower."

I stood up and left to search for the parachutes they had hidden in the cabin.

As expected, I found two in the bathroom. Without raising suspicion, I removed all the parachutes from the plane.Just after returning, Jolene came to the cockpit to report the situation to me.

I noticed her eyes subtly glancing towards Nolan.

I couldn't help but wonder when they had started hooking up.

Jolene and I were college classmates. She had excellent grades and liked to form cliques, while I was introverted due to family reasons and was often dragged to the bathroom to be bullied by her.

I remember her pulling my hair and saying, "Someone like you thinks they can become a captain?"

"That's right, our sister Jolene will be the most beautiful captain in the future. You? You couldn't even dream of it."

I could only cower in the corner, shaking, as they beat and kicked me.

I often blamed myself for being so weak back then, so after graduation, I immediately went to get my pilot's license, constantly pushing myself to become stronger.

We met again three years after I married Nolan. She transferred to work at our airline. Maybe that's when she and Nolan started hooking up.
