Chapter 5: The reincanator' first day at the royal capital
It's been 3 days since yoo Jaehyun or should I say Lena Dunham made a contract with Lixia the vampire. Although she's been waiting for Lixia to create something that she requested she couldn't help but worry.
Lena:(It's already been 3 days since I made a contract with her but... I can't help, but worry since It's the first time that she'll make a... I just hope that everything will turn out well in the end...)
Lena:"*Sigh*"
Louise:"Are you ok Lena? You seem a bit... down lately"
Lena:"Oh it's nothing just a bit tired! Haha..."
Both of them are at Mona's room they were planning to go to the library to read some books.
Lena's reason was to keep her mind off about Lixia and for Louise was to read something about music but...
They suddenly heard voices, out of curiosity both of them hide behind the shelves and took a peek.
It was they're parents flirting to each other. Instead of being flustered they sighed at them and thought

Lena/Louise:(I can't believe their flirting at a library, how shameless... )

And quietly left not wanting to get involved with them. They decided to stay at Mona's room because Paul was busy studying literature with his tutor. They didn't want to interrupt his studies
Louise:"If you say so..."
She said still feeling concerned about her sister until she felt someone tugging her skirt.
She turned then look down to see Mona holding a ragdoll on her left hand while the other is still clutching her skirt
Louise:"Mona what is it?"
Mona holds her doll in front of her. She was confused at first but realized that her baby sister wants to play
Louise:"You want us to play with you?"
Mona nodded, which made both of them chuckled and decided to play with her.
The three of them were playing dolls far more than 3 hrs but they enjoyed it. Until they heard someone knocking at their door.
Louise:"I'll get it!"
She went and opened the door, then saw it was one of their maids.
Maid:"My lady's lunch is ready, please come to the dining room"
Louise:"Alright"
She looks at Lena who immediately stood up from the carpet and was about to leave but...
Mona:"Wah!"
They turned around and saw Mona trying to stand shakily
Louise:"Oh my gosh! Mona is trying to stand up!"
Lena:"Come on Mona~ you can do it!"
Maid:"So cute, It would've been nice if we have something to record this scene..."
That made Lena light a bulb from her head
Lena:(This gives me idea... I'll asked Lixia if she can make it)
Louise:"Woah~! Mona is standing!"
She snapped out from her train of thought and saw Mona properly standing
Lena:"Great job Mona!"
She claps her hands proudly which the others followed. Mona made a huge smile on her face and giggled
Lena/Louise/Maid:(So cute)
Mona:"Wah"
They saw Mona started walking on her own, It made them squealed at the action.
When she was about to take another step. She tripped on one of her toys, and was about to fall
But Lena quickly dive in to catch her. They all sighed in relief while Mona was amazed and hugs Lena tightly around her neck.
Lena was startled at first but made a warm smile curved from her lips and started caressing her cheeks
Louise:"Aww no fair~"
She whined and look at them with envy, while the maid just chuckles at the behavior thinking it was natural for Louise at her age to be jealous
Lena:"Hehe let's go to the dining room, I'm a bit hungry..."
She place Mona back to her crib. The maid realized that she almost forgot her task...
Then immediately went outside and waited for them, as they left the room

When they finally arrived they felt the temperature going down.
Their Mother releasing a cold aura around her while the two men in their family drenched in cold sweat
Amelia:"What's taking you so long~?"
Louise:"U-Um uh we were just..."
She look at the maid who was in charged of calling them and ask..
Amelia:"Why are you so late on bringing to the table huh~? Is it that hard by the way?"
The maid was petrified and couldn't uttered any words. Lena who couldn't stand the pressure anymore answered her.
Lena:"We saw Mona walked for the first time!"
They felt the temperature had gradually warming up and saw they're mother smiling widely at them
Amelia:"Really? That's good..."
The three of them sighed in relief. The maid left the room quietly while the other two take their seats and grab their utensils
Amelia:"So tell me, how many steps did she take?"
Lena:"She took three steps!"
Louise:"Yeah! She almost fall though... But it's a good thing that Lena catch her on time, she reacted so fast that I didn't even realize it"
She explained feeling astonished at her sister's fast reaction
James:"It's looks like Lena is getting more skillful... you should have seen her almost cutting my neck with her sword when we were training ..."
He said as he took a sip of his tea,
Paul:"Seems like it... looks like your going to have a bright future ahead of you Lena~"
He said as he finally grabs his utensils
Lena/Louise:(Looks like they finally shook off their dread from mother huh...)
Both of them thought as they narrowed their eyes at them
Lena:"You're exaggerating and besides I'm not interested in becoming a great public figure"
Lena:(Thinking back... I used to catch my little brother once, when he first just started walking)
She unknowingly smiled with a faint blush on her cheeks, which everyone noticed.
Louise:"Hey, Lena why are you smiling like that? Are you thinking about your crush?"
Lena:"WHAT!? NO!!"
Louise:"Then why are you smiling?
She asked suspiciously and narrowed her eyes at her
Lena:"Well..."
Lena:(I can't tell them, I was thinking about my little brother in my past life. They'll just think I'm crazy! I'm better think of an excuse...)
Lena:"I was just remembering about Mona's first time walking!"
Louise"Oh is that so..."
She seemed to believe her excuse as she finally lets go of the matter.
Lena:(Well, it's actually true in a way...)
James"Phew... thank goodness"
Lena switched her attention to her father feeling confused of his statement
James:"Amelia~ I'm going to the royal capital this afternoon"
Amelia:"You're going to the royal capital? Is it because your going to have a meeting with the other merchants?"
James''Yes, there's some things I need to discuss with them..."
Amelia:"Alright, But please don't overworked yourself "
The couple smiled warmly to each other. The children sighed at them as they looked away, not wanting to ruin their romantic atmosphere.
They immediately finished there food and left the room quietly.

AFTER LUNCH
Paul:"Mother and father are so lovey dovey..."
He said already feeling tired of his parents romanticism
Louise:"Yeah... we even saw them flirting at the library"
Lena:"Uh-huh "
Paul:"WHAT!?"
He looked shocked but eventually turned to disgust
Paul:"Can't they just flirt somewhere else!! I can't stand it!!!"
He complained as he ruffles his hair, feeling irritated
Lena:"Just give up, there's nothing we can do about it"
Louise:"Yeah... let's just go to our rooms"
They went upstairs and goes back to their respective rooms.

She slumped on her bed and buried her face onto her pillow
Lena:"*Sigh*what a day... did mother said that father is going to the royal capital?"
Her eyes went wide. Then immediately dashed out of her room and went straight towards her father's office.
Lena:"FATHER!!!"
She shouted as she slammed the door, making her father almost jumped from his seat.
James:(Here I thought it's going to be peaceful today...)
James:"What is it Lena? You almost gave me a heart attack"
Lena:"Sorry father, But can I... come with you?"
James"What?"
Lena:"Can I go to the royal capital with you"
She asks with pleading eyes which made her father stun but eventually sighed at her
James:"Fine"
Lena:"Yay!''
James:"I'll tell your mother, she needs to know about this..."
Lena:"Yeah I agree, I don't want mother to scold us after all..."
James:"Hahaha! Go to your room and get changed"
Lena:"Alright, father"
She beeline out of the room and gently close the door, as James continued finishing his papers.

She went back to her room and opened her wardrobe then look at her clothes.
Lena:"I need something to wear... But I really don't want to stand out too much "
Her streak started to glow as many butterflies appeared before her.
Lena:"Oh! What are you guys doing here?"
The butterflies started circling around her like a tornado which made Lena panicked and closes her eyes.
When the butterflies suddenly stopped. She slowly opened her eyes and felt something on her head.
She grabs it and saw it was a black beret hat with a pink ribbon around it.
She then realized that her clothes were different as well.
She walked up to her mirror and saw that she was wearing a long sleeve black dress with pink butterfly patterns around it's skirt.
Lena:"Wow... now that's my style~"
One of the butterflies lands on her shoulder, as Lena look at her and smiled.
Lena:"Thanks,you guys really know my taste"
She then heard someone knocking on her door.
James:"Lena! Are you almost done changing? It's time to go-!"
Lena:"Coming father!"
She open the door and saw her father wearing a brown vest suit with a black coat under his shoulders
Lena:"Nice suit"
James:"Lovely dress"
Lena:"Thank you but... I feel like you're missing something..."
An idea came into her head and Lena turn to her butterflies with a mischievous glint in her eyes.
The butterflies immediately understood and started swarming at her father.
James:"Hey, LENA! Are you still not over the fact that I defeated you!? Let's just talk this over and-"
When the butterflies finally fluttered away from him. James look at himself in surprise to see that his jacket had a pink butterfly symbol on his back and a hand-made designed butterfly brooch at that.
James:"Wow... Lena i-its amazing~!"
Lena:"Glad you like it and... It's not much of an effort"
James:"No, seriously! It was spectacular Lena! You could be great fashion designer "
Lena:"Thanks father, but I'm not really interested"
James:"Well~, I can't force you. Let's go "
Lena:" Yes!"

Both of them got outside, and saw Amelia, Paul and, Louise who came to see them off.
Amelia:"Remember Lena, don't get lost around the city and always stay close to your father. Got it?"
Lena:"Yes mother..."
James:"Alright, it's time to go now Lena "
Lena:"Ok, father "
Louise:"Hey~ Wait! Lena!
Lena:"...?"
Louise:"Can you bring souvenirs for us?"
Lena:"Huh?"
Louise:"We haven't gone to the capital for a long time, since our tutoring... so can you?"
Lena:"Uh, sure... What kind of things that you want me to buy?"
Louise:"I wanted a custom-made paint brush"
Lena:" Paint brush? Are you into arts now?
Louise:"Oh, no. Actually I need it for my music notes during the lesson "
Lena:"I see..."
Paul:"And I need a pen with great material. It's a pain for me to always use feathers and ended up spilling ink on my papers..."
Louise:"Yeah, definitely since your a total klutz's sometimes"
Paul:"Hey!"
James:"Ok, that's enough now you too... Come now Lena"
Lena:"Yes... I'll buy them for you two right after this bye-bye~"
Louise:" Safe travels! "
Paul:"Be sure, to NOT get kidnapped by thugs!!"
Amelia:"Take care of yourselves, you two!
The three shouted their goodbyes as they watched them get inside the carriage and set's off.

Lena:"So father, what are you going to discuss with the other merchants?"
James:"Well, I was thinking of selling something new for the company, so I want to hear the others opinion "
Lena:"I think it's great idea to have something new for a change.
James:"Hm?
Lena:"Besides having same products won't make much difference from money expenses and some people even get might tired of it
James:"...You have a point"
Lena:"Don't people need something new in their lives? And don't they get tired of the same things...?
James:"..."
He couldn't couldn't help but stare at her blankly and how open-minded or persuasive her statement was.
Lena:"I'm sure something like that won't make any growth, if you kept having the same things in life. Like for example, a caterpillar who won't came out from it's cocoon and become a butterfly if it won't face it's hardships to change"
James:"Hmm~"
He began pondering at her words and smiled then patted her daughter's head, which earned an astonished look from her.
James:"Lena have you thought of-"
"Sir, we have arrived"
His words was caught off by the coachmen. Realizing they arrived at their destination, both of them stood as Lena let her father open the door of their carriage and raises his hand to her.
James:"Let's go Lena"
Lena:"Yes!"

In the bustling street of the capital Lena and her father James are sitting at the fountain as they watch people working, talking, walking, and laughing in their sights.
Lena:"Who are we waiting for, father?"
James:"Just my two old business partners of mine..."
???:"WHO ARE YOU CALLING OLD!!?"
They turned to see two man who seemingly look like in their mid-twenties approached them and glared at James.
James:"Ah! You guy's finally came..."
???:"What's with your nonchalant look on that face..."
???:"Can you at least be more respectful for us!! Since were actually have the same age...!"
James:"Sorry, I didn't mean to call you old farts"
Lena/???/???:(You really don't seem to be apologetic at all...)
She and the other two men thought incredulously.
Lena:"Father..."
James:"Oh right!"
He clears his throat and put on a business like smile on his face
James:"Gentlemen, this is my daugther Lena and Lena this is my co-workers"
???:"Hello there, I am Baron Leal vespertine"
???:"And I'm Baron Azure ardent"
Lena:"I'm am delighted to meet you sirs"
She bowed and smiled politely. The two man look at her with great disbelief then started whispering
Leal:"Hey! Azure... is she really that guy's daughter? She doesn't seem to be a cocky bastard like him!?"
Azure:"Maybe she inherited her traits from her mother..."
James:"I can hear you two idiots"
While Lena watch the Three bickering, she finally spoke up to get their attention.
Lena:"Aren't you guy's supposed to be discussing...?
James/Leal/Azure:"Ah...!"
They quickly stood straight as James started coughing, feeling the judgmental gazes around him; including his daughter.
James:"Umm... Lena, how about you go buy the things that your brother and sister ask you to bring for them..."
He said to get rid of the awkward atmosphere and giving her a small sack of gold coins. Lena just nodded, already knowing her father's attempt of not wanting to embarrass themselves then went to the streets.

Lena got outside of the stationary store as the bell rang at her doorstep and was holding small package of pens and brushes in her hand.
She walk around the streets as she look at the stalls then saw a beautiful pink butterfly designed ribbon made her stop tracks and stared it with admiration.
"Did it caught your eye little one?"
The stall lady said with a smile that made Lena come to her senses
Lena:"U-um sorry... I-I don't have much money with me...!"
She said feeling embarrassed and tried to find an excuse but, someone wearing a black cloak and almost the same height as her spoke up with a voice of a young boy.
???:"How much is it madam?"
"That would be 50 gold coins in total"
The boy brought a small pack of gold coins from his pocket and placed it on the table offered the ribbon to her.
???:"Here you go miss"
Lena:"Ah! You have to buy it for me..."
???:"Nonsense! A gentlemen must always help a lady in need... that's what my father used to say"
That made her chuckle at the young boy's dramatic exclaim
Lena:"Your father must be a quite the gentleman"
???:"Yes, he is and what are you-"
He paused when he saw Lena struggling to tie the back of her hair.
???:"Uh... do you need help?"
Lena:"Ah-It's okay! I almost got it"
She eventually tied it, but was unkempt and messy. Making the boy laughed but quickly cover his mouth.
???:"Let me do it for you"
He approaches and began styling her hair. Feeling the gentle touch from his hands made her flush.
???:"Done!"
Lena:"Umm-uh thank you..."
She said with her cheeks burning though, feeling uncomfortable for having a boy do it for her and started to think it was wrong.
???:"A pleasure~! By the way what is your name miss?"
Lena:"Ah! It's-"
???:"LENA-!!!"
She turned around and saw her father amongst the crowd, waving beside the carriage.
James:"IT'S TIME TO GO! OR I'LL LEAVE WITHOUT YOU~"
Lena:"Sorry, I need to go..."
???:"It's fine"
Then Lena began rummaging through her bag and took out one of fire crystals from her bag and extended it to him.
???:"This is..."
Lena:"I got it from clearing a dungeon, so~ you can have it"
???:"You're giving me a fire crystal!? That's costed-"
Lena:"Anyway, here you go~"
She quickly handed him the crystal and ran
???:"HEY WAIT!
Lena:"THANK YOU FOR BUYING ME THIS RIBBON~!"
Before he could tell her to stop, Lena just gave him a warm and gentle smile to shout her thanks. Somehow it made the boy heart skip a beat as he watched her get inside the carriage, when a man with ran up to him.
???:"YOUNG MASTER!"
???:"Oh, Jed! You're here"
Jed:"Where have you been!? You were at my side and then gone in a split second!!"
???:"Hehe..."
The boy scratch his head in embarrassment while the man just sighed exasperatedly
Jed:"So~ did you finally found a gift for the princess?"
???:"..."
Jed:"Young master...?"
The boy glances at the place where Lena was before returning his gaze back to Jed.
???:"...Jed"
Jed:"Yes?"
???:"Take a look at this..."
As as he shown the crystal, the man eyes widen in shock.
Jed:"T-That's a fire crystal that costed 1,1000 GOLD COINS! How did the you get such an item? "
???:"A young girl who seemed to be the same age gave it to me as a thank you~"
A smile curved from his lips. The man noticed a slight flush from his cheeks which had him sigh deeply and massage his temples.
Jed:"Oh, don't tell me you fell in love with another girl other than the princess-!"
???:"HUH!? WAIT-! how did you get that conclusion!?"
Jed:"You think, you can fool your own servant and caretaker!? Hah, I've seen you hopelessly falling in love with the princess at first sight!! And now you have feelings for some commoner girl!?"
???:"NO! I'M NOT! And she's not a commoner... she look like a noble girl who dresses quite strangely..."
Jed:"Hm?"
???:"I felt some peculiar power from her... and she told me she conquered a dungeon just to collect this crystal..."
???:"...That's absurd! Only people at the age of 16 will be able fight dungeons to get elemental crystals!!Unless that girl was just lucky or just trying to survive and get herself money to run away from her abusive parents..."
That last sentence made the boy frown, already imagining on how Lena got inside the dangerous dungeon alone and fought many ruthless beasts, made his fist clenched.
???:"How irresponsible! Why did they let their child fight alone with wild and dangerous beast at such a young age!? Despicable..."
Jed:"It's not uncommon for nobles to treat their children as tools for recognition and greed... young master should know this..."
He said but his word carried a hint of grievance and displeasure as the boy took off his hood showing his raven hair and ruby eyes filled with determination.
???:"Such Scum! I, Edmund Dran second son of the Dukes family will not accept such cruelty and shall save this innocent girl from her ruins..."
The man sighed again but didn't dare to stop him as a small grin appeared from his lips as he watched his young master kept vowing to save this mysterious girl.

Lena:"Achoo!"
James:"Are you okay Lena?"
Lena:"It's fine... just a little cold"
Lena:(Why do I feel like something troublesome is about to happen...?"
