Cat fight

"Who the hell does she think she is, huh?" Hazel muttered, turning to the unidentical twins. They both exchanged glances before Alexa smirked, ready to spice up Hazel's anger.

"I know, right," she began, "and now what? She thinks she's better than you?"

"Better than me? No one is fucking better than me, get that?" Hazel hissed, standing up in the process. "And I'll show her what I mean."

The twins followed. They stood up, a smile gracing their lips.

"Finally, we get to tease the slut and teach her a lesson as well. Yee, this is going to be so fun!" Alexa squealed.

"Yep. Let's do this, girls," Hazel Freeman grinned, and they began walking towards Harper's seat.

Just before they got there, they bumped into Tyla, who had a frown on her face.

"Uhm... aren't you going to apologize or something?" Alexa was the first to speak. She rolled her eyes. Her reply from Tyla was a sharp glare, which made her flinch for an unknown reason.

"Hey," Hazel snapped her fingers at Tyla, "Excuse me, you heard her, didn't you? Or did you not?" she asked sharply, trying to contain the anger that was stirring within her.

"What the hell is wrong with you guys?" Tyla spoke, her tone cold.

"And who the heck do you think you are?" Hazel retorted, flipping her hair and folding her arms.

Tyla scoffed, folding her arms too.

"'Lexis, who the heck is this?" Hazel Freeman turned half-sided to Alexis, who was staring at her phone. She looked up for a brief second, seemingly examining Tyla. Then she rolled her eyes.

"You'll not like the sound of this." She turned to Hazel.

"Tell me," Hazel Freeman demanded, her brown eyes fixated on Tyla.

Alexis cleared her throat. Among Hazel's clique, she was the one who knew all the trends, people, and updates surrounding them.

"This is Tyla whatever-her-damned-surname-is, Harper Reed's best friend," Alexis answered, exhaling silently afterward.

Alexa gasped dramatically, covering her mouth in the process.

"Voila," Tyla deadpanned.

Hazel turned, all smug confidence. "Oh? Tyla. Didn't know lapdogs spoke now."

Tyla did not flinch one bit. "What was that? Say that again."

Hazel laughed lightly. "No need to be so tense, babe. It's not my fault your best friend can't sit without checking her ass."

Harper sat still, her hands clenching the sides of her desk.

But Tyla?

She moved.

She was in Hazel's face in a heartbeat. "You think this is funny? Pouring shit on her seat? Embarrassing her like that?"

Hazel scoffed, stepping closer—nose to nose now. "Watch your tone. You're not scary."

"I'm not trying to be scary," Tyla snapped. "I'm promising you—ever touch Harper again, even breathe wrong in her direction, and I will ruin you."

"Oh, please," Hazel hissed, shoving Tyla's shoulder lightly. "Go cry somewhere. You're nothing."

Wrong move.

Tyla shoved back—hard.

Hazel stumbled, hitting a desk behind her. Gasps echoed around the classroom.

The twins exchanged glances again.

"Did this bitch just push me?" Hazel turned to Alexis, who nodded violently.

Groaning, Hazel lunged.

She grabbed Tyla's hair and began pulling it. Tyla didn't spare her; she also grabbed Hazel's hair and started pulling it back.

The twins were transfixed. Harper too. She just stared at them. Students had already begun filming the whole scene.

After the hair phase, Hazel scratched Tyla's arm with her manicured fingers, and Tyla grabbed her by the collar. "Don't you dare test me," she warned.

"I don't give a fuck, Tyla. Your best friend is just a slut," Hazel Freeman snapped back, breathing loudly.

"What did you just call her?" Tyla asked, her voice shaking slightly, and she slowly looked up at Hazel.

"A sl—" Hazel couldn't complete her sentence when—

A slap rang out. Landing on Hazel's cheek.

The classroom froze.

Hazel's hand found her cheek. The twins gasped, covering their mouths.

"Did. You. Just. Slap me?!" Hazel Freeman barked. Word by word. Each word louder than the other.

"Have you always been this dumb?" Tyla snapped back, her voice calm and cold.

"You asshole!" Hazel hissed through gritted teeth.

"You want war?" Tyla growled. "Congratulations. You just got it."

Hazel, cheeks flushed and hair wild, glared up. "You'll regret this, bitch."

Tyla leaned in closer, her tone ice-cold. "No. You will."

"Tyla, please! Please stop this!" Harper's weak voice cut through the loud silence. The next sound was her footsteps as she ran out.

"I'm not done with you," Tyla whispered and followed Harper.

The moment Tyla left, Hazel's breathing got loud, her eyes seemingly twitching.

The twins still couldn't speak. Swallowing, Alexa decided to make the first move.

"Uh... are you okay? That bitch is dead, right?"

A menacing chuckle escaped Hazel's mouth.

"Not only her... Harper too."

Turning to face the class, she saw some students were still recording the scene.

"What the hell do you think you're doing?!" she roared. Then, with a loud groan, she took her purse and stormed out of the biology class.
