As the vision faded, I felt a sense of awe and wonder. The secrets of the universe had been revealed to me, and I felt like I had been given a great gift.
But as I looked around at Raven and Sophia, I saw that they were staring at me with a mixture of concern and curiosity.
"Kae, what did you see?" Sophia asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
I tried to put into words the visions I had seen, but it was difficult. The secrets of the universe were too vast, too complex.
"I saw the past," I said finally. "I saw ancient civilizations and long-lost knowledge. I saw the secrets of the universe."
Raven's eyes narrowed. "What secrets?" he asked.
I hesitated, unsure of how to reveal what I had seen.
"I unlocked a new skill," I said. "Ancient Knowledge. The System says it's increased my understanding of the ancient world."
Sophia's eyes widened. "That's incredible," she said. "With that knowledge, we may be able to unlock the secrets of the ancient ones."
Raven nodded. "But we need to be careful," he said. "The weight of that knowledge could be crushing."
I nodded, feeling a sense of determination. I was ready to bear the weight of that knowledge.
_System Alert:_ Your Ancient Knowledge skill has increased to level 2. You have gained a new ability: Ancient Insight.
I felt a surge of excitement as I read the System's alert. What would this new ability do?
As I looked at Raven and Sophia, I knew that I had to tell them about the System.
"Guys, I need to tell you something," I said, my voice serious. "I've been getting these...alerts. From a system. It's been guiding me, helping me unlock new skills and abilities."
Raven's eyes narrowed. "What system?" he asked.
I hesitated, unsure of how to explain. But then, I realized that I didn't need to explain. The System would do it for me.
Raven and Sophia looked at each other, then back at me. "We need to talk about this," Raven said. "But first, we need to get out of here. We're not safe."
I nodded, feeling a sense of agreement. We needed to get out of there, and fast. But as we turned to leave, I realized that we were not alone.
There were others in the chamber, watching us from the shadows. And they did not look friendly.
