Spacers

A strange and powerful existence suddenly appears on Earth in the year 2040.

It gives humanity one message:



"Find me amongst the stars, or existence will fold."



As the being disappears, it leaves behind a mysterious dust that when consumed will allow a person to attune to one of the twelve Zodiac constellations, becoming a 'Star Born' who can defy logic with supernatural powers.



Decades later, the United Congregation of Earth and it's Dominions send trained pilots who have become star born, known simply as 'Spacers' with ships out into the unexplored cosmos to complete the task of finding 'it'.



People rarely return from these journeys, but it's better they don't, as a Spacer's return always heralds disaster.



Marcus Debecross, a young man who has just graduated from pilot school, is certain with his aims, which is to become a Spacer who delves into the realm of the cosmic paranormal in order to discover salvation for a universe on borrowed time.



Or at least... the strange dreams he's been having urged him to.
