~kyara's pov~

The next day, I prepared myself with a mix of excitement and dread coursing through my veins. It had been an entire week since that dinner, and yet here I was, bound for a destination known only to him. Argh, the audacity of this man! Just wait until he falls prey to my carefully laid trap. He'll come to regret ever crossing my path!

Mr. Liam, as he so charmingly introduced himself, had cameras strategically placed around his lavish home—yes, even in the bathroom. The nerve! My room was invaded daily, searched as if I held the secrets to the universe. But what he remained blissfully unaware of was my knowledge of plants and flowers, a subject I studied with fervour during my schooling. The very flower thriving in his garden, when squeezed and added to someone's food or drink, harboured a potent sleepy charm. Not many hold this knowledge; I might be among the few. Of course, I had my reasons for being acquainted with such… unconventional skills. I had taken three of those flowers, just to be safe.

"Are you ready?" His voice sliced through the air, making me jump and release a startled gasp.

Goodness! He has no concept of knocking!

"Oh my, did I frighten you, my princess?" he said, a smirk dancing across his lips. "It's my house, after all. I don't need to announce my presence."

"It's fine," I replied, striving for calmness despite the tempest within me.

He moved towards the window, gaze distant as he said aloud, "I'm wondering why I'd choose you over my dog. You're not so different, really… How about you prove your worth? I know you may lack in physical strength, but that's not what I seek—my men can handle that. Can you dance, princess? No, I shouldn't even ask; I know you can and you'll love to."

He closed the distance between us, his hand reaching out to tilt my chin upwards, compelling me to meet his gaze. "You will dance for my guests today, so prepare yourself."

As he strode away, I summoned every ounce of strength within me to refrain from lashing out, to resist the urge to act foolishly.

He wants me to dance? He'll get more than just a performance soon, and I hope he's truly ready for what's to come. Because he will be given a show far beyond his wildest expectations!
