"Is this the so-called 'stay calm and post it on social media' mentality?"
Scrolling down, he noticed someone was even live-streaming! These people had nerves of steel. The live stream showed a group of people beating up a zombie. Suddenly, the camera shook violently, followed by screams and agonized wails. The phone dropped to the ground, capturing the person being bitten on the neck by a zombie that had seemingly appeared out of nowhere. The group scattered in panic, and chaos ensued. "Oh my god! They're risking their lives to live-stream at a time like this! They must've missed what was happening behind them." Shuang'er chimed in, also watching the live stream. She was still holding her chopsticks, gesturing at the phone screen. "The students in Building 1 are really something, live-streaming like this. Double tap for 666!" Wang Gang's voice echoed in the group chat, full of admiration. "No kidding. A group beating up a zombie, not even giving the zombie any respect. Too bad their awareness was terrible—they didn't notice the one sneaking up behind them." Ma Tao seemed eager to take on some zombies himself, commenting with a critical tone. Then, Wang Lei dropped a bombshell:"Did you hear? This morning, 20 people from Building 5 raided the supermarket and got a lot of supplies. So far, no one's been infected."
Wang Gang immediately raised doubts:"Building 5 is close to the supermarket, so it's easier for them. The supermarket is far from us. If we tried, we'd probably get surrounded by zombies before we even got there."
Wang Lei's lackey, Ji Dayong, chimed in excitedly:"Our Building 10 is close to the cafeteria. Who says we have to go to the supermarket?"
Wang Gang, who had been starving for too long, was eager to follow Building 5's example. He tentatively asked:"Any brothers want to take the risk? Let's get 20 people together and hit the cafeteria. If we succeed, we won't have to starve anymore."
A brief silence followed. Clearly, many of the more impulsive young men were stirred by Wang Gang's words. If they waited any longer, they'd run out of energy, and then it would be too late to act. Everyone seemed to be silently considering the feasibility. Then, a voice broke the silence, immediately capturing Huang Ming's attention.
