Chapter 64

The day before the wedding...

A few days later, on the eve of the wedding, everything was ready. Juliette had agreed to take Gloria's place, as she was still hospitalized and suffering from Charlotte's absence. Love and magic filled the air. Jacob and Mousse had done everything to make this ceremony worthy of a fairy tale—a true kingdom where love would reign supreme. They had rented two majestic mansions: one for the grooms and male guests, the other for the brides and female guests. Chauffeurs and luxury cars were also arranged to accompany the brides and their families throughout this exceptional day.

In her room, Charlotte was talking with Juliette, Sophia, and some of Mousse's close family members. Amid the laughter and shared memories, Charlotte’s mother entered, visibly worried. She wanted to talk to her daughter in private, a subject weighing on her heart.

Charlotte, guessing the reason for her visit, led her into the hallway before she could say a word.
