The years passed by, and people’s lives are moving in the future even with the advanced technology in hand. Not everyone is blessed. There is still unrest lurking in the corners of the night. While every detective and police station has upgraded with new equipment, the ones in the dark are also upgraded to kill. The only question is, which is the right side? In the middle of the confusion, a masked assassin rises over dropping bodies in his path. The only difference, he murders criminals masked under the painting of the society elites. The question is. Where does it end?

The masked man cleans the handle of the knife and throws it into the dumpster. The masked man plans to kill the man, but luck is in his favor. The target comes into the place alone, looking scared and fidgety. The masked man stabs the man with a knife, leaving him with fear and tears. The masked man takes one last look at the dead body before moving towards the dumpster. He drops the knife on the ground, puts gloves on the ground, and pats the cat on his shoulder. He removes his mask and puts it on the ground close to the knife, leaving the scene in darkness.

A number of words came into his head. He was thinking of all those times he was with the family in the functions. Jeffery knew his family was not exactly the normal kind. They had strict thoughts, but this was just not something he was able to think properly about. There is so much issue here. Too many people ignored this violence. Does this mean the women of the family, all of them, are treated the same way? Jeffery shook his head as he thought. 


“Do you know what the irony is here, Jeffery? I chose you. I wanted to get married to you. However, you declined. I wanted to be friends with you, but you left. I wanted help from you, and you ignored me. It is you who abandoned me, Jeffery.” Martha’s words were scary to him. 


“I asked, when did all this start, Martha? Answer me.” He asked again, trying to hold onto the breath.
