Samantha rubbed her temple as she finished taking notes from the forensics. She got some good clues. “I know you are part of the forces, but I didn’t think you would be here.” 


Samantha raised her eyes at the sound of the voice. She watched the scene before her as she was conscious of the steps coming closer to her side. “Hello, Sister Venila. I did not expect you to be here as well.” 


She rubbed her lips, grazing them with her upper teeth. “… And what would you have done knowing it?" 


Avoid getting involved with the case since I am here. Venila walked close to her, folded her hands, and tilted her head, staring at the lady. 


“It is still not time yet to be this close,” Samantha spoke out. 


“Your mother married into my household, and I expected to get a sister; instead, I got an angry child. I wonder why.” Venila smirked. 


Samantha took a deep breath and released it. “You are not the one I am having competition with, and I don’t have a rivalry with you as well.”
