Chapter 7: Li Xiao’s Wish

Li Xiao lifted his head, his eyes filled with unwavering determination. Without hesitation, he voiced his wish.

"Lord God, I wish for the destruction of the Chen Kingdom and the restoration of Tang's former glory."

That was his ultimate desire.

Chen had been the nation that ruined his family, stripped him of his status, and forced him into exile. His hatred ran deep, an unquenchable fire that had burned within him for years. He longed for revenge.

If Chen was destroyed, he could reclaim his position, rebuild Tang, and once again stand at the pinnacle of power. Wealth, prestige, and beauty—everything he had lost—would be his once more.

This wish, he knew, was far more realistic than seeking something as unattainable as immortality.

Xia Chuan listened, a faint smile playing on his lips. Through the Book of Wisdom, he had already learned the history between these two nations. Tang and Chen had been bitter enemies for centuries, locked in endless conflict.

Li Xiao's current predicament was entirely due to Chen's actions. His hatred was understandable.

And to Xia Chuan, this request was laughably simple.

Chen might be a massive kingdom with a population in the hundreds of millions, but to him, they were nothing more than a nest of ants. Wiping them out required little more than the flick of his wrist.

More importantly, Chen possessed a world item of its own. By destroying the kingdom, Xia Chuan could claim yet another powerful artifact. Two gains for the price of one.

"Very well. I have heard your wish."

Xia Chuan's voice echoed through the minds of Li Xiao and his followers.

Li Xiao's breath caught in his throat. The others stared in stunned silence. They hadn't expected an immediate response.

But their shock quickly turned to elation. If this god truly intervened, Chen's destruction was inevitable.

Before they could say another word, Xia Chuan vanished.

"What just happened?! Where did Lord God go?"

"Isn't it obvious? He must be on his way to destroy Chen!"

"Then what should we do?"

"There's no time to waste! We must return to Tang at once, rally our forces, and prepare for war!"

Excitement surged through them. Without hesitation, they turned and began their journey back to Tang.

Xia Chuan had, in fact, teleported back to his own world through the Bronze Door. Once home, he retrieved two bottles of liquid nitrogen before instantly teleporting back. The entire process took barely a second.

He had no intention of personally waging war against millions of miniature humans. That wasn't how he operated.

The true strength of humanity had never been physical power—but intelligence, the ability to create and wield tools.

"Liquid nitrogen should be more than enough to deal with them."

Xia Chuan studied the two bottles in his hands.

Liquid nitrogen, the product of modern industrial civilization, was nitrogen in its liquid state at extremely low temperatures. At normal pressure, it remained at -196°C. A single cubic meter could expand into nearly 700 cubic meters of gaseous nitrogen.

Even brief skin contact could cause irreversible frostbite within seconds.

Releasing just one bottle of liquid nitrogen could instantly freeze an entire region, turning everything within it into an icy wasteland.

In fact, liquid nitrogen was often used to exterminate red imported fire ants (RIFAs). A single release could wipe out tens of thousands in an instant.

It was also incredibly easy to obtain. Often used in food preparation, particularly in making ice cream, liquid nitrogen was both accessible and inexpensive—just five to ten yuan per liter.

At that rate, an entire ton of liquid nitrogen cost barely a thousand yuan.

Before all this, Xia Chuan had enjoyed conducting scientific experiments at home. As a result, he had plenty of liquid nitrogen stored. Now, just two bottles would be enough to obliterate an entire nation.

"A perfect weapon—cheap, powerful, and efficient."

He turned to the Book of Wisdom.

"Where is the Chen Kingdom?"

The book, acting as a vast repository of knowledge, could answer almost anything.

"Master, the Chen Kingdom lies 3,000 kilometers ahead."

Immediately, a three-dimensional map materialized in Xia Chuan's consciousness.

"I see."

Of course, that measurement was relative to the miniature humans. To Xia Chuan, the distance was merely a few hundred meters.

If he walked, he could reach it in ten minutes.

Without hesitation, he set off toward Chen.
