Sarutobi Hiruzen quickly tried to calm Tsunade down.

"Tsunade, you need to calm yourself. The battle between Mito-sama and Uchiha Madara is something we cannot interfere with. The Nine-Tails' chakra is extremely destructive, and there's no way for us to coordinate effectively in this fight. Rushing in carelessly would only hinder Mito-sama's efforts..."

After much persuasion, and with Jiraiya and Orochimaru chiming in from the sidelines, Hiruzen managed to temporarily convince Tsunade not to intervene and stop her from rushing to aid her grandmother.

Tsunade reluctantly let go of Hiruzen's beard but continued to glare at him as she turned her head back toward the battlefield, worry etched across her face.

Hiruzen discreetly wiped the sweat from his brow. He had finally managed to pacify her—for now.

At that moment, Hatake Sakumo, who was overseeing the ANBU operations, approached Hiruzen and whispered discreetly:

"Hokage-sama, neither ANBU nor the Uchiha clan has sent anyone to assist!"

Hiruzen's expression darkened instantly.

"I understand. For now, focus on maintaining order within the ANBU."

"Yes, Hokage-sama!"

Hiruzen remained silent, joining the others in watching the ongoing battle unfold.

The residual electricity from the Extreme Chidori faded away, and the dust from the explosion began to settle. Under the glow of firelight and moonlight, everyone realized with shock—Mito in her tailed-beast form had vanished!

The crowd was momentarily stunned, but Uchiha Madara seemed to sense something. He glanced downward at the ground beneath his feet.

Sure enough, the earth beneath Madara suddenly erupted, and two crimson-red fox claws made of malevolent chakra shot upward, aiming straight for his head, threatening to crush it entirely.

"Delusional!"

Madara instantly activated the Chidori Stream, surrounding himself with sharp, crackling blue lightning.

The two demonic claws clawed furiously at the electromagnetic barrier created by Madara's Chidori Stream—but they couldn't break through.

Bam! With electricity crackling around his hands, Madara grabbed one of the fox claws and slammed the tailed-beast Mito into the ground with a powerful over-the-shoulder throw!

Madara didn't stop there. He repeatedly picked her up and slammed her onto the ground again and again, as if she were nothing more than a broken sack being pounded into the dirt. Each brutal impact was accompanied by a pained roar from the Nine-Tails and splashes of crimson chakra flying everywhere.

Unable to endure any longer, Mito unleashed another tail, bringing her total to seven. Her power skyrocketed once again, and she broke free from Madara's grip, leaping into the air. Opening her mouth—now resembling a gaping fissure—she lunged toward Madara's throat, attempting to bite him.

From this move alone, Madara could tell that the Nine-Tails' influence over Mito was growing stronger. Otherwise, she wouldn't resort to such primal biting attacks.

As Mito's fanged maw closed in on him, Madara remained unfazed, calmly staring directly into the eyes of the tailed-beast Mito.

In that moment, Madara's Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan flared to life, its crimson patterns glowing ominously.

Seeing those familiar scarlet eyes, the Nine-Tails inside Mito froze momentarily, recalling the humiliating memory of being controlled and enslaved by those very eyes.

Taking advantage of this split second, Madara activated the power of his Mangekyō Sharingan. Dark-blue chakra skeletons surged from his right arm, forming an enormous skeletal arm of the *Susanoo*, which immediately grabbed the charging tailed-beast Mito.

Caught in the grasp of the Susanoo's skeletal arm, the tailed-beast Mito froze in place. The observing Konoha shinobi stood dumbfounded as Madara, his crimson Mangekyō Sharingan blazing, coldly addressed Mito:

"Mito Uzumaki, has your mind been corrupted by the Nine-Tails' chakra? Let me help you regain clarity!"

With overwhelming force, the massive dark-blue Susanoo arm slammed Mito into the ground!

BOOM! The earth trembled violently as the Susanoo arm crushed Mito into the soil, creating deep cracks in the ground beneath her.

Madara raised the Susanoo arm, revealing Mito lying limp in the massive crater left behind. Her mouth hung open, and her body appeared lifeless.

Kakakaka... More dark-blue skeletal structures emerged, encasing Madara's upper body in a towering half-formed Susanoo.

The half-Susanoo loomed impossibly tall, resembling a demonic god standing before them. The Konoha ninjas looked up in awe, their hearts trembling with fear.

Even Sarutobi Hiruzen gazed upward, his voice trembling as he muttered:

"...This is... the legendary... *Susanoo*..."

Tsunade, Orochimaru, and Jiraiya had seen this sight before, and they nodded gravely. If Madara was using the half-Susanoo, what else could he do but smash?

Controlling the colossal half-Susanoo, Madara faced the pit where Mito lay. He clenched his fist and brought it down with devastating force!

BOOM! The ground shook violently, nearly knocking some of the distant Konoha observers off their feet.

But this was only the beginning. Madara increased both the intensity and speed of his assault, delivering punch after relentless punch upon Mito. Each impact caused the earth to quake, making it feel as though an earthquake had struck Konoha itself!

The tremors threw the village into chaos. Tsunade, frantic, tried to rush forward to save Mito, but Jiraiya held her back with all his strength.

Farther away, civilians evacuating to underground shelters stumbled and fell, struggling to keep their balance amid the chaos. Many looked back in terror at the towering dark-blue giant pounding the earth, fear gripping their hearts.

Deep underground in ANBU headquarters, Danzo sat in his office, feeling the constant vibrations shaking the base. Even the walls began to crack, causing cold sweat to bead on his forehead as panic flickered across his face.

He turned to look at the glass tank containing Hashirama Senju's preserved corpse, finding some semblance of calm in its presence.
