She forced a polite smile as people whispered:

"Isn't that the villainess?"

"She's so beautiful… but terrifying."

"I heard she once knocked a man unconscious with a tea cup!"

"Who are you?"

"Lord Evander Roswell. A Duke, just like you."

"…Never heard of you."

Evander chuckled.

"Then allow me to make an impression."

Before Seraphina could reject him, he swept her onto the dance floor.
