Episode 26 : Aviation

Zawaq sped towards the enemy. The enemy unfurled its two wings, shooting dozens of sharp iron feathers. Zawaq protected his two faces by crossing his two arms. His body was pierced by many of the iron feathers.

Zawaq pulled out many feathers from his body. The enemy sped towards Zawaq, swinging its two wings to attack him. Zawaq dodged with all his might. The enemy was very skilled in moving its two wings as if controlling two of its own hands.

Zawaq dodged one of the enemy's wing slashes. The enemy's slash cut through a large rock behind Zawaq. The top part of the rock fell to the ground. The enemy easily sliced the rock with its sharp iron wings.

Zawaq kicked the side of the enemy's body. The enemy stepped back a few times, away from Zawaq. Zawaq punched and kicked the enemy several times, but every one of Zawaq's attacks was blocked by the enemy's two pairs of wings.

"I am the bringer of death in the sky and on the earth. Don't think that just because you've killed many of my men, you can kill me!" the enemy said, then jumped and flew into the air.

"Don't run, coward!!!" Zawaq shouted angrily."I'm flying! Not running!" the enemy replied as it flew high into the air, leaving Zawaq.

The enemy returned, but at high speed. The enemy repeatedly shot at Zawaq with iron feathers. Zawaq dodged the enemy's attacks as best he could. Zawaq jumped high into the air to avoid the enemy's charge.

The enemy flew high into the air and then left Zawaq alone. Zawaq remained on alert, ready to face the enemy's attack, but after several minutes, the enemy had not returned after flying far away from Zawaq.

Zawaq returned to the base. The Arab soldiers looked at Zawaq in confusion.

"Zawaq, what happened? The enemy?" one of the Arab soldiers asked Zawaq.

"The enemy fled," Zawaq replied.

"Maybe the enemy is afraid of you," said another Arab soldier.

"It's hard for me to fight the enemy. The enemy has the ability to fly and attack me from the air. The enemy can also shoot iron feathers," Zawaq replied.

"Crazy. The headquarters thinks that just giving us anti-bullet aid is enough to fight invincible soldiers?" Qusay shouted angrily.

"We could ask for air support," the base commander said.

"How long will it take for air support to arrive? Do you think the air force will be sent easily by headquarters?" Qusay asked.

"Calm down, Qusay. We'll try. We can't rely on Zawaq alone to fight the enemy," the base commander said.

"Because you all rely too much on Zawaq, Zawaq is the eye of Israel that invites all the calamities from Israel! Damn you for working with Zawaq, who is clearly and evidently an enemy cursed by God along with Israel!" Qusay shouted angrily.

"Zawaq. Don't pay attention to him. He's lost his mind," an Arab soldier whispered to Zawaq.

"I need some time alone. There's too much on my mind," Zawaq said.

"No problem, go rest. If there's anything, let us know," another Arab soldier said.Zawaq smiled before walking away for a moment.

Zawaq was alone outside the base. The sun began to set. Zawaq examined the iron feathers of the enemy.

"Zawaq," the base commander called out to him.

"Commander." Zawaq stood up from sitting on a rock.

"Call me Afiq," the base commander replied."Alright. Please, have a seat," Zawaq offered.

"Lately, you've been isolating yourself and sitting alone. Why don't you stay with us inside the base?" Afiq, the base commander, asked.

"I'm worried about my parents and friends who are being held hostage. Israel is punishing them because I betrayed them," Zawaq replied.

"Why did you betray them?" the base commander asked.

"I answered this question when I first came to your base before. I just realized that Israel is not the good side. Children are being killed mercilessly by Israeli soldiers. Since then, I betrayed them," Zawaq explained.

"Zawaq, we are comrades in this struggle. We will do our best to fight Israel and free your family and friends," Afiq said.

"I heard that Israel has gained more than half of Palestinian land through the gift of the United Nations. The war is over. I don't think we can free my family," Zawaq replied.

"True, Zawaq," Afiq sighed honestly.

"It's so unfair. The United Nations is controlled by major powers. More than half of Palestinian land is given freely to Israel. Many innocent Palestinians are killed, and their land and homes are seized," Zawaq said.

"That's why the war will never end until justice is served," Afiq replied.

"Will you still help me?" Zawaq asked.

"I can't help you until we receive orders from the Arab military headquarters, but..." Afiq said.

"But?" Zawaq asked.

"Our last mission needs to be completed. Air support is on the way to help you defeat the flying enemy," Afiq replied.

"Can air support defeat the enemy?" Zawaq asked.

"With God's permission, yes. Anti-invincible soldier bullets have also been produced as much as possible by the military research center. This is also thanks to you. You have defeated many of Israel's invincible soldiers. We sent samples of the enemy's iron body and armor to headquarters. If you hadn't defeated the enemy, we wouldn't have been able to produce the anti-invincible soldier bullets," Afiq explained in detail.

"I'm afraid that the air support will be in vain," Zawaq replied.

"Don't worry. Headquarters has informed us that fighter jets will use machine guns that will shoot anti-invincible soldier bullets," Afiq replied.

"Alright then," Zawaq sighed."Come inside the base to rest and sleep. The air support might arrive tomorrow," Afiq said.

Zawaq and Afiq returned to the base, but there was a commotion.

"What happened?" Afiq asked the Arab soldiers in concern.

"One of us is dead! His head suddenly disappeared while we were chatting!!! The enemy attacked at night!!! We didn't see where the enemy was!!!" an Arab soldier shouted with a sad face.

Zawaq immediately looked up at the dark night sky.

"Everyone, take cover!!! Make sure everyone is armed!!!" Afiq ordered the Arab soldiers.

"The enemy is not here," Zawaq said.

At sunrise, another Arab soldier was cut in two, split into upper and lower parts, by the enemy from the sky. The Arab soldiers shot at the fleeing flying enemy, but missed. The enemy flew away, dodging the shots.

"Damn it!" Qusay shouted angrily, crouching under a wooden table with a pistol in his right hand.

The enemy unleashed a rain of iron feathers, causing almost all the Arab soldiers to suffer minor injuries from the sharp iron feathers. Afiq, the base commander, was also hit by one of the sharp iron feathers. One of the iron feather blades was lodged in his left shoulder.

Afiq screamed in pain and fell to the ground. Zaqwan quickly ran to Afiq and treated him.

"Zawaq, you're absolutely useless!" Qusay shouted angrily at Zawaq, but Zawaq ignored him.

Zawaq took a Mosin-Nagant M91/30 rifle from an injured Arab soldier beside him and aimed it at the enemy. He pulled the trigger. His shot missed.

The enemy flew freely in the air, mocking the injured Arab soldiers. Zawaq continued to aim and shoot at the enemy. All his shots still missed. The enemy flew away from the base. Zawaq punched the ground in anger, causing it to crack, because his shots didn't hit the target.

Qusay took the communication radio handed to him by an Arab soldier who crawled up to him.

"What? Air support will arrive soon?! Too late!!! We were all nearly killed by the enemy!!! How many planes are coming?!" Qusay shouted angrily through the radio.Qusay handed the radio back to the Arab soldier.

"Air support will arrive soon. As if five planes arriving could defeat our enemy," Qusay said.

A few hours later, air support had not yet arrived. The enemy returned to attack, flying in the air and unleashing a rain of iron feathers. All the Arab soldiers tried to take cover behind hand-made iron shields they had crafted.

Zawaq used an FN FAL to shoot at the enemy, but the enemy shielded itself with its iron wings and continued to fly freely in the air.

"Air support has arrived!!!" shouted one of the Arab soldiers, pointing to the sky.

Five aircraft appeared overhead, flying past the enemy. The planes circled in the air and began firing at the enemy. The enemy flew quickly, dodging the gunfire from the Arab soldiers' planes. The enemy retaliated by shooting dozens of iron feathers, shattering the cockpit glass and piercing the body of one of the fighter pilots.

The plane nosedived toward the ground. The remaining four planes fired at the enemy, and some of their shots hit the enemy's body, but the enemy continued flying, maintaining its speed and altitude.

The enemy stopped in midair and then spun rapidly. One of the Arab soldiers' planes tried to avoid colliding with the enemy. Unfortunately, the enemy's wing sliced through the plane's right wing, causing it to plummet downward.

Three planes continued firing at the enemy. The enemy flew away quickly, with the three planes desperately chasing it. The enemy suddenly changed direction and collided with the cockpit of one of the planes, killing the pilot as his body was torn into several pieces.

The enemy accelerated and rammed into another plane, leaving just one plane remaining. That plane fired at the enemy, but the enemy shielded itself by folding its wide, iron wings around its body.

None of the shots penetrated the wings. The enemy then sped up, spinning rapidly like a drill, and collided head-on with the last plane. The plane exploded, scattering debris everywhere.

"I told you!!! Air support is useless!!!" Qusay raged, seeing the air support destroyed by the enemy in such a short time.

"Afiq, order some of our soldiers to carry out a mission to search for any surviving pilots," Zawaq said to Afiq.

"No problem," Afiq replied.
