Episode 44 : Rumbling

Zawaq continued his journey toward the illegal Zionist Israhell regime. He walked across towering hills in the desert, with only a few trees scattered along the way.

When Zawaq reached the peak of a hill, he saw a figure standing proudly on top of a higher hill not far from where he stood.

Their eyes locked. Their bodies faced each other, like two wolves ready to pounce, fighting for dominance over the land.

Zawaq knew that figure well. He could never forget that man's face—not now, not ever, not even until the end of time.

The man smirked at Zawaq. In Zawaq's eyes, there was nothing but pure hatred and unrelenting vengeance. His heart felt like it was being consumed by raging flames the moment he saw the man's face.

"Where are you headed, Zawaq?" asked Lieutenant David.

"None of your business. You have no right to interfere in my affairs—especially after murdering my parents," Zawaq said firmly, his expression fierce as he glared at David.

"You're looking for your wife and child?" David asked.

"You bastard," Zawaq growled before leaping into the sky like an eagle soaring high above.

Zawaq dived down, plummeting toward David like a hawk descending upon its prey. He landed on David and kicked him with tremendous force—so powerful that the sound echoed throughout the desert like an explosion.

David blocked the kick with his crossed arms and then deflected Zawaq's leg before counterattacking with a kick of his own. His strike was as fast as lightning, and the sound it made was just as intense.

Zawaq coughed up blood and rolled down the steep hill where David stood at the peak. He stopped himself by digging his fingers into the earth, gripping the dirt to halt his descent.

"Your wife and child are dead, Zawaq. There's no home for you to return to," David called out, smiling.

Zawaq got up and sprinted up the hill, charging at David in fury. He threw punches and kicks, but David easily blocked and countered every attack.

Then—BOOM!

A single, earth-shattering punch from David struck Zawaq's face. The impact sent him crashing face-first into the dirt at David's feet.

"I know everything about you, Zawaq. You were nothing but weak and cowardly. You joined the military just to get a scholarship for higher education. During your training, you were the worst-performing soldier in the entire program!" David taunted, pressing his foot down on Zawaq's back.

Zawaq tried to push himself up, but David stomped on him harder, forcing him back into the ground.

"I overheard what you said to my subordinates. You only became brave after gaining extraordinary powers! If you were still just an ordinary human, you would never have betrayed us!" David pressed his boot into Zawaq's back again and again.

Zawaq spat out blood, his stomach feeling like it was going to rupture. His ribs cracked under the immense pressure. His strength was draining rapidly.

"You think you can fight me? I am a Lieutenant! And you? You were just a lowly soldier looking for a scholarship!" David sneered as he stomped on Zawaq's head.

Zawaq groaned in agony. His skull felt like it was about to shatter, like an egg crushed under a rock.

"I've been watching you for a long time. You think you can be a hero—a legend—to these Arabs while your own family was slaughtered by me and my men? Your wife and child are dead, Zawaq! They were blown to pieces by a rocket! And do you know what's funny? It was your own people's rocket! The Arabs'!" David shouted, his voice filled with mockery as he continued to stomp on Zawaq's head and body without mercy.

Zawaq suddenly rolled away, dodging David's foot. He sprang up and threw a punch, but David caught it effortlessly.

"You are no longer the legendary warrior that my enemies worship. Your family died because of you! You were too weak to protect them! You only act strong in front of others!" David taunted.

Another devastating punch from David landed on Zawaq's face. Zawaq was sent tumbling down the hill, rolling until he reached the bottom.

David leaped from the peak, diving straight toward Zawaq from above.

Just as Zawaq was getting back to his feet, David's kick landed brutally on his body. The force sent him flying through the air like a leaf caught in a hurricane.

Zawaq slammed into a solid rock hill. The entire rocky structure collapsed from the sheer impact.

He fell to the ground, gasping, coughing up blood that splattered across the sand and stones beneath him. His body trembled as he fought the urge to vomit.

"What are you still fighting for, Zawaq?" David stepped forward, closing the distance between them.

"For more than two years, you had a happy life... and yet, you still chose to throw it away to fight us! Look at you now! Your beloved wife betrayed youYour child died in her arms. Your parents died because of your actions! This is all your fault, Zawaq!" David snarled before launching a brutal kick to Zawaq's face.

A sharp ringing filled Zawaq's ears. His neck felt like it was about to snap. He was flung sideways, his body collapsing onto the ground, now facing the sky.

"You thought you could be a legendary hero to people you don't even know, while your family remained safe under our rule? How unfair. Imagine if the Arab soldiers found out that your family was protected by us," David scoffed, shaking his head as if amused by the absurdity of the situation.

"Say whatever you want... you're still the murderer of my family." Zawaq's weak voice carried into the night as he stared at the dark sky above.

"Have you lost your will to fight?" David laughed, watching Zawaq lie there motionless.

"I will never forgive you," Zawaq whispered. Then—he rose again.

David chuckled. "I don't need your forgiveness. Who are you, anyway? Just a storyteller proud of his own lies."

"I will kill you!" Zawaq roared, throwing a punch. But his strike was slow and weak.

David easily parried the attack before unleashing a flurry of blows on Zawaq's battered body.

Two final punches landed—one to his face, one to his stomach.

Zawaq was sent flying backward, crashing onto the ground. David exhaled sharply, irritated by Zawaq's persistence.

But suddenly—Zawaq rose again.

Like a corpse rising from the grave.

Green veins spread across his jaw and the sides of his face. His eyes glistened with tears, rolling down his cheeks.
