Episode 48 : Decimated

All the Arab soldiers opened fire on Alen, who was rampaging. Alen's body sprouted sharp, hard bones all over. His ribs extended outward, forming a chest shield. Two large horns protruded from his shoulders.

Alen's head also grew sharp horns, resembling needles sticking out of the grass. His teeth were razor-sharp like a lion's. His fingernails and toenails turned into deadly claws.

The soldiers' bullets had no effect on the now-gargantuan Alen. Standing at a towering three meters, Alen remained unscathed. Several tanks fired at him.

Alen screamed in pain, but the tank shells did not penetrate his skin. The projectiles shattered upon impact, but Alen remained unharmed. He let out a roar like a lion's battle cry toward the Arab soldiers.

"Alen!!! Stop!!!" Zawaq shouted at him.

Zawaq ran toward Alen and grabbed his massive hand. In response, Alen hurled Zawaq into the air. While descending, Zawaq found himself defenseless as Alen delivered a powerful punch.

Zawaq was sent flying hundreds of meters past a battalion of Arab soldiers. Alen then sprinted toward a nearby tank and slashed at it with his claws, exposing the terrified soldiers inside.

A nearby tank fired directly at Alen's head. Alen turned his gaze to the right, where the shot had come from. He leaped toward the tank and struck it with both hands.

Standing atop the tank, Alen delivered relentless punches, flattening the armored vehicle. The soldiers inside screamed but were silenced as their bodies were crushed under Alen's brute force.

Despite their fear, the Arab soldiers continued firing at him. Alen lunged at one of them, delivering a devastating punch. The soldier's body was hurled into the air, lifeless from the sheer force of the impact.

Alen slammed his fists into the ground, crushing soldiers beneath his strength. Blood splattered, and flesh and organs were scattered in every direction.

Realizing their weapons were useless, the soldiers began retreating in terror.

"Alen, stop!!!" Zawaq shouted again.

Zawaq dashed forward like a raging storm, leaping high into the sky like a soaring aircraft. He dove downward, aiming a kick directly at Alen's head.

The impact did nothing. Alen grabbed Zawaq and dragged him across the ground at high speed, carving a deep trench into the earth. Zawaq struggled but couldn't break free from Alen's grip.

Moments later, Alen flung Zawaq like a spear. Zawaq flew thousands of meters before crashing through the roof of a three-story building.

Groaning in pain, Zawaq struggled to rise from the rubble. As soon as he stood, Alen was already in front of him.

Alen delivered a barrage of punches. The force sent Zawaq crashing through multiple buildings, unable to escape the relentless assault.

After being hurled through several floors, Zawaq landed on the ground. Parts of the crumbling buildings collapsed from the destruction.

Zawaq leaped sideways, dodging another attack as Alen slammed into the ground where he had just been.

"What happened to you, Alen?" Zawaq asked.

Zawaq's face was filled with sorrow as he gazed at his friend, who was no longer human—just a monstrous being.

"Why did you become like this?!" Zawaq cried out.

In an instant, Alen appeared in front of him. With an uppercut, he sent Zawaq soaring into the sky, breaking through the fourth floor of a building.

Zawaq flew through rooftops, crashing past building after building. Alen landed atop one and sprinted after him.

Zawaq rolled across the rooftop, barely evading another punch. Alen's fist shattered the building's top, sending chunks of concrete flying.

Zawaq countered with a sidekick, but Alen didn't even flinch. In response, Alen backhanded Zawaq, sending him tumbling across the rooftops.

Regaining his balance, Zawaq descended to the lower floors of a nearby building. Alen leaped high into the air and crashed onto the rooftop where Zawaq had been moments ago.

Zawaq ran randomly into the building's interior, hoping to escape. Alen bulldozed through everything in his path, unstoppable and invincible.

Suddenly, silence fell. Alen halted, scanning his surroundings. He searched for Zawaq on the fifth floor but saw no sign of him.

Frustrated, Alen roared and started demolishing everything in sight—furniture, walls, and floors. His fists pounded the ground, causing the entire building to shake.

Growing more enraged, he leaped and rampaged through walls, floors, and debris as if they were made of paper. He didn't stop until the entire structure collapsed to the ground.

Then, he heard it. A scream—Zawaq's voice. Alen searched but found nothing. Then he looked up.

Zawaq was plummeting from the sky. With a powerful downward kick, he struck Alen's head like an axe splitting firewood.

The impact exploded like a bomb, echoing through the city. Alen collapsed, face-first into the ground.

Using the force of his own kick, Zawaq flipped back and landed several meters behind Alen. He watched, hoping his attack had finally subdued his friend.

But Alen stirred. He rose from the ground, still full of energy, showing no sign of weakness.

Zawaq's heart nearly stopped.

Standing tall and imposing, Alen turned to face him.

Panicked, Zawaq quickly retreated, moving erratically to confuse his monstrous opponent while struggling to catch his breath.
