The peeping Devil Kushina

The two of them had grown quite close. Seeing Kushina suddenly act shy made Liuyun pause for a moment before he couldn't help but laugh. As the lunch break ended, the number of students in the classroom gradually increased. There weren't many students in Liuyun's class—only about thirty in total.

A little boy with yellow hair walked into the classroom, smiling and nodding at Liuyun as he passed. However, Liuyun noticed that the boy's gaze was fixed not on him but on Kushina.

In the ninja world, children were often precocious, both physically and mentally.

'The Fourth Hokage, Minato Namikaze...' Liuyun thought to himself, smiling slightly, though unease settled in his heart. 'Minato was really pretty when he was young, almost like a girl…' He couldn't help but make that mental note, subconsciously ignoring his own appearance. In fact, he was also quite handsome; if he didn't tie his smooth, straight hair back, he could easily pass for a girl—perhaps even more so than Minato.

"Okay, classmates, be quiet and study hard…"

The first class of the afternoon was ideological education. Liuyun viewed this as a pure brainwashing session. The Ninja Academy emphasized loyalty above all else, conducting brainwashing classes like this every day, sometimes even multiple times a day.

The Ninja School curriculum was diverse, covering reading, literacy, ninja knowledge, ideological education, and practical combat. In six years, the little ninjas had a lot to learn, and the classes were fully scheduled.

As Liuyun looked at the familiar yet unfamiliar faces in the classroom, his racing thoughts gradually calmed down. He didn't pay attention to the teacher at the front discussing loyalty; instead, he focused inward, checking his own state.

His vast spiritual power activated the bloodline within him. Not only had he awakened the three-tomoe Sharingan, but he also sensed a dramatic increase in his chakra—more than tenfold. However, since he initially had very little chakra, this increase only made his chakra levels comparable to that of an ordinary Chunin. This was already the maximum capacity his young body could handle. With continued training and growth, he could potentially hold more chakra in the future. His chakra capacity would eventually rival that of Naruto and Sasuke, but for now, it was definitely higher than that of an ordinary Uchiha.

'Liuyun isn't paying attention to class at all; he's practicing hand seals under his desk...' Kushina thought, catching glimpses of his movements from the corner of her eye.

Feeling a strange gaze on him, Liuyun turned to see the little red-haired girl looking back at him. When their eyes met, Kushina pretended to be indifferent, but her stiff posture revealed her tension.

Liuyun dismissed her at first, but he caught her peeking at him a second and third time.

He quickly tore off a small piece of paper, wrote a few words, and quietly tossed it her way. Passing notes was a common practice among elementary school students. He'd done it plenty in his previous life, but this was a new experience for him.

Kushina quickly noticed the paper ball and secretly opened it to read: "Why are you peeking at me?"

Her pretty face flushed red as she picked up her pen, wrote a reply, and threw it back: "When did I peek at you? Don't talk nonsense..."

Liuyun tore off another piece of paper and wrote: "Really?"

"No!"

"No? Then why are you blushing?"

Kushina's face turned an even deeper shade of red upon reading his note.

"What's it to you? Anyway, I didn't!"

She threw the paper ball back, hitting Liuyun squarely on the face.

"Okay, just don't get caught!"

This was their last exchange before the teacher noticed their antics. While they were having fun, Minato Namikaze, sitting behind them, was dumbfounded. When did Liuyun and Kushina start flirting?

Minato couldn't see Kushina's expression, but he noticed her ears were red. He also saw how often Liuyun turned his head to look at her.

'Something's not right with those two...' he thought.

As soon as the ideological education class ended, all the elementary school students rushed outside, excited for the next class—a practical outdoor test. Most of the students left the classroom quickly, but Minato hurried over to Liuyun and Kushina's seats. He discreetly picked up the small paper ball that had fallen to the ground.

When he opened the paper and read it, a strange expression crossed his face.

'Why did Kushina peek at Liuyun? What does "bubble teapot" mean...?'

He felt that something was off between them.

"Today's test is about kunai and shuriken throwing. According to your seat numbers, come up one by one," called the Chunin instructor on the playground, pulling out a small notebook to record scores.

"No. 1, Watermelon Taro..."

The boy whose name was called picked up a kunai from the bucket and threw it at the target 20 meters away. His first throw missed entirely, making him the butt of the joke. Blushing, Watermelon Taro took his second shot.

Each student had to throw six times—three kunai and three shuriken. Watermelon Taro managed to hit the target four times and missed twice, barely passing. The assessment standards weren't strict; not everyone had the keen eyesight or throwing skills of the Uchiha clan. As long as they could hit the target, that was enough.

"Hey, Liuyun! This is the test you're best at. You should be able to get full marks, right?" Kushina approached Liuyun, whispering to him as the candidates could move freely until their names were called. There were not many restrictions during outdoor classes.

"I don't know... I just hope I don't fail," Liuyun replied nonchalantly. He wasn't overly concerned with achieving full marks since there wasn't much reward for it. Being too outstanding could attract unwanted attention from those with ulterior motives.

"How could you fail? You've always had good grades in this subject, especially now that you've awakened..." Before the naive girl could finish her sentence, Liuyun quickly covered her mouth.

He glanced around, then grabbed her wrist, pulling her away from the crowd swiftly.

Kushina felt her heart race at his intimate gesture. She wanted to resist, but for some reason, she didn't shake off his hand and instead allowed him to lead her away.

"Didn't I tell you to keep it a secret? Stop mentioning it all the time... It'll be trouble if people find out I have the Sharingan," Liuyun whispered in her ear, their closeness drawing the attention of others with less-than-pure intentions.

Minato's eyes widened in disbelief. Since that afternoon, the relationship between Liuyun and Kushina had grown undeniably ambiguous.

He couldn't understand what had caused this sudden change...
