The Dark Palace

Lily slowly opened her eyes. She was in a room. The room was pretty much like a room of a fancy hotel. She was looking around when she spotted a maid bowing her head. Not sure what this place is she asked the maid "Excuse me, do you know what this place is?" Maid raised her head and said "Young miss, this is the dark palace of demon god, Noah."

"Dark Palace? Noah?" Maid sighed and said "Young miss, you must be confused but lord Noah came here with you." Lily Looked at her hands and then she finally realised she was chained to the bed!!

She tried to get up but her legs were also chained she couldn't move from the bed. She was locked inside. She thinking that the maid could help asked "Could you please untie me. I want to come out of bed." Maid replied "Sorry young miss, but I could not help with that. The keys are with the demon god himself. I'm simply here to help you with anything else." Saying this the maid exited the room.

Lily left alone started crying. She was afraid to be alone. She doesn't like that feeling. That's one of the reasons why she is still hung upon Leon. She cried for an hour or so when a voice came sharp and piercing saying "Stop crying are you a baby?" Lily looked up. It was…him!! The person who brought her here and chained her. She as innocent as ever said "Please let me go!".

He just sighed and said "Do you think I will take you here without any objective in mind?" "Um…Yes" Lily replied. He said "Ha!! You really are an idiot. Now, answer me, aren't you the lover of Leon." She nodded. He continued "So, you know the fact that he is a vampire. But, have you ever seen him drink blood?" Lily answered "Well, he said that instead of blood he drinks a potion that prevents him from consuming blood as well as provide him energy."

He laughed and said "He must have worked a lot!!" Lily still not getting what he is saying asked 'What did you mean by "he must have worked a lot'?". He paused and said "You are a pure soul, right?" lily nodded. He continued "No wonder!! You see Leon is my twin brother. He long time ago lost his powers as a god and came to human world. Like around the time in your second life. He made you drink a love potion, which was very strong against a pure soul like you. And until now he was just using you to get divine power so that he could survive. But you died every time."

Lily was dumbfounded, she wouldn't accept this. Her lover was fake!! Her own love was fake!! She had gone through a lot of troubles to at least give him a little longer life. This was not true she thought. She screamed and screamed. The man not wanting to see this drama simply said "I will come and see you after few days. If you want to join me, then say."

Saying that he disappeared without a trace. Lily cried harder than before.

(A few days later)

She was now in good health but she was still chained in the bed. She had accepted the fact that her love was fake. Her lover was fake. But this all happen because of him. She wanted to get revenge upon wasting her all 68 lives. She could have lived peacefully if not for him.

Now that she was calmer, she usually talked to maids that helped her and share her stories. Maids in return told her about "Noah" the man who invited her and she will join him.

(Night time)

It was already night. Usually at this time she reflected about her day. And that what she was doing. She got her hands on an empty book and used it to write everything that she heard about Noah every day.

While she was writing her reflection of today. The same sharp voice from that day came again saying "It's good that you're writing every thing you know in a book. But you have to be careful." Lily turned to look. And there he was that man. Standing and leaning against the door.

 She closed her book and simply stared at he. After a long that when their staring competition ended. He chucked and said "Now, now. It seems that you are in good health as well as you have progressed quite a bit."

With click of his fingers he released her from chains. She looked at her legs and hands and smile saying "Thank you, Demon god." He for some reason felt irrelated and said "Don't call me that just call me, Noah."

Lily nodded and said "Okay, Noah". He dragged a chair near by and sat on it. Like that their negotiation started. Noah asked "Have you decided weather to join me or not?" Lily said "I will join you…" Noah was looking happy when Lily continued her statement "But, In three conditions…" "And what are those three conditions?" asked Noah. "First, condition if I'm out of use to you guys. You will provide me with a proper home in human world. Second, I need to be notified to whatever you are doing. Third, if you broke above fist and second condition you need to give compensation."

Noah chucked and said "Well, you have become sharp in these days. But what compensation do you want?" Lily smirked and said "Money. At least 100,000 gold coins". Noah smiled and said "You really are smart. But, are you sure these are what you really want?" Lily was confused and asked "what do you mean by what you really want?". Noah smile brighten as he said "You know I can give you service."

Lily's face was flush red thinking how could someone be this…shameless. Noah after that left saying "I will meet you tomorrow. Good night."
