Chapter 16 – Dadan

Yato and Luffy arrived at the bandits' camp, a large wooden barracks where Luffy lived. As soon as they entered, some bandits looked at Yato with suspicion. It didn't take long for one of them to ask who he was.

Luffy pointed at Yato, grinning. "This is Yato, he joined my pirate crew!"

The bandits exchanged glances before bursting into laughter. "Your pirate crew? You haven't even left this mountain yet!"

Yato took the moment to introduce himself. "My name is Yato, and as Luffy said, I'm now part of his crew. Nice to meet you all." He looked at the leader of the bandits, a rough-looking woman with thick, red hair. "And you must be Dadan."

Dadan scoffed, crossing her arms. "And how do you know my name?"

Yato chuckled lightly. "Luffy has mentioned you a few times."

One of the bandits clicked his tongue. "Hey, Luffy, you can't just invite anyone into your crew. And this guy doesn't even look strong."

Yato raised an eyebrow, pretending to be curious. "Wanna test that theory?"

The bandit immediately agreed. He stood up, staring Yato down before throwing a direct punch. Yato dodged with ease, moving effortlessly. Before the man could react, Yato countered with a precise punch to his stomach, sending him flying backward. The bandit tumbled across the ground, stopping just short of crashing into Dadan.

The camp fell silent. The bandits stared in shock. Even Dadan looked surprised.

Yato walked up to her with a small smile. "Sorry, Miss Dadan. Almost hit you there."

She frowned and nearly raised her hand, thinking he was about to try something, but he simply reached out and plucked a leaf from her hair. Dadan froze at his touch, and when he smiled afterward, her face turned as red as a tomato. She nearly had a nosebleed on the spot.

Eleven days later. Yato continued his routine of intense training and nights with Makino, but now he also visited the bandits' camp regularly. His excuse was to see Luffy, but he spent most of his time talking with Dadan. Each visit, he found subtle ways to tease her. Once, he used a cloth to wipe a bit of meat sauce from the corner of her mouth, making her blush violently. Another time, he pretended to wipe sweat from his face by lifting the bottom of his shirt, exposing his well-defined abs. That time, Dadan actually had a nosebleed.

Now, eleven days later, Yato believed Dadan was in her fertile period. The perfect moment to act.

To set the stage, he bought several barrels of liquor and hunted some animals, bringing everything to the bandits' camp. Luffy immediately accepted the idea of throwing a party. When the bandits saw the liquor barrels, they cheered loudly and showered Yato with praise. The party began. Everyone ate meat and drank freely, including Luffy, who eventually passed out along with most of the bandits.

Dadan was drunk too, but still conscious, just a bit dizzy. Yato approached her with a smile.

"Need help getting to your room?"

Dadan, with her inhibitions lowered, accepted without hesitation. Yato guided her to her room and closed the door behind them. Then, he leaned in and kissed her. Dadan didn't resist, kissing him back instantly. Clothes began to fall, one by one.

Four hours later, Dadan lay unconscious from exhaustion. Yato, however, felt invigorated, stronger than before.

He knew. He had succeeded.

Dadan was pregnant.
