Limits and Growth

The training grounds inside the Senju Compound were quiet, save for the occasional sound of controlled breathing. Tetsuma Senju, drenched in sweat, stood still, his arms slightly trembling from the rigorous training he had just undergone. His movements had slowed, but his focus was unwavering.

At the age of 12, Tetsuma had already surpassed expectations. His training regimen, always relentless and grueling, had forged a shinobi with incredible potential, though he still had a long way to go before reaching the peak of his power.

Unlike most shinobi who took their rest after missions, Tetsuma never stopped training. To him, rest was a luxury he could not afford.

Pain was just a reminder to push further.

Fatigue was a wall to be torn down.

Weakness was a personal failure.

His body was still young, but his mind was already set on far greater goals.

Despite his age, Tetsuma's chakra reserves were nothing short of astounding. Thanks to his semi-sage body, a result of his reincarnated soul and the excess spiritual energy it carried, he possessed the chakra capacity of an elite jōnin, putting him on par with seasoned veterans. However, his fighting power—though considerable—was more akin to that of a newly inducted jōnin, lacking the experience and finesse of those who had seen real battle. His strength wasn't enough to overcome the experience of older shinobi, yet his chakra was a tool that could make him a formidable opponent in the right circumstances.

His stamina was high, and he could keep fighting longer than most, but he knew that in terms of raw combat experience, there was still much to learn. The Senju bloodline was powerful, but his lack of field experience still held him back from becoming the true force he could be.

Lightning Release (Primary Combat Style)

Tetsuma's signature style was his Lightning Release techniques. From an early age, he had shown remarkable aptitude for lightning-based jutsus, and he quickly developed a unique style, one that was fast and deadly.

Chidori: A high-speed thrust of concentrated lightning chakra, capable of piercing through opponents with lethal precision. However, it required complete focus, and the speed often left him vulnerable to attacks from his periphery.

Chidori Nagashi: A defensive technique that enveloped him in a storm of lightning chakra, shocking enemies who came too close. It was a countermeasure against multiple opponents and weaker attacks.

Chidori Senbon: A long-range variation of the Chidori, firing multiple lightning needles with the speed and precision of a master archer.

Chidori Sharp Spear: An extension of the Chidori technique that formed a long, spear-like structure of lightning, capable of piercing through tough defenses.

Lightning Body Flicker: A faster version of the Body Flicker technique, utilizing lightning chakra to enhance his speed, allowing him to close the distance with enemies in an instant.

Lightning Beast Running Technique: A modification of the Chidori that summoned a lightning wolf to chase down enemies and strike with ferocity.

Lightning Clone: Created a clone made of lightning to distract and confuse enemies, while shocking them if they made contact.

Lightning Bind: Generated lightning restraints to immobilize enemies temporarily, using their own chakra as a conduit to channel electricity.

While his lightning techniques were lethal and fast, they lacked significant defensive power. His focus was speed and precision, making him deadly at close-range, but he still struggled against more durable opponents.

Earth Release (Defense & Control)

To balance his offense, Tetsuma also trained extensively in Earth Release techniques. These jutsus allowed him to create barriers and manipulate the terrain to control the battlefield. He used these techniques to compensate for the weaknesses in his lightning-based style.

Earth-Style Wall: A solid, durable wall of earth that could block incoming attacks and protect him from enemy ninjutsu.

Earth Spear: Hardened earth extended into sharp points, which could be launched at enemies to pierce or restrain them.

Earth Dragon Bullet: A powerful attack that created compressed earth projectiles that exploded on impact, much like cannonballs.

Earth Prison Dome of Magnificent Nothingness: A large, imprisoning dome of earth that trapped enemies inside, restricting their movements and allowing him to control the fight.

Earth Clone: Created a clone made of earth, which could be used for both offense and defense, acting as a decoy or attacking in place of Tetsuma.

Earth Flow River: Turned the ground into mud to destabilize enemies and prevent them from maintaining their footing.

Earth Shore Return: Created a rock barrier that could shield Tetsuma from long-range attacks.

Hiding Like a Mole Technique: Allowed him to travel underground, making surprise attacks possible or enabling him to escape dangerous situations.

With the Earth Release, Tetsuma gained the ability to control the battlefield and defend himself when necessary. However, it was still a work in progress. His defense was improving, but he had yet to integrate it as seamlessly into his lightning style as he would in the future.

His chakra capacity surpassed most shinobi, allowing him to keep fighting for extended periods. He had a unique combination of lightning for offense and earth for defense. With his Lightning Body Flicker and Chidori, he could close the distance between him and his opponent quickly, overwhelming them with fast attacks. His chakra reserves and stamina allowed him to fight for longer periods compared to the average shinobi.

Despite his immense talent, he was still young, and his lack of experience in true combat situations was a significant disadvantage. While he excelled in long-range attacks and speed, his ability to defend against powerful close-range melee combatants was still lacking.

Though he could handle one or two enemies effectively, dealing with larger groups was more difficult, especially against skilled opponents.

Despite these weaknesses, Tetsuma was a force to be reckoned with. His determination and constant drive to improve would push him to overcome these shortcomings, but he understood that power alone was not enough to win wars. Strategy, patience, and wisdom would be the true keys to success.

After each mission, he would retreat to the Senju Compound, where he would train relentlessly, honing his skills and sharpening his mind. He wasn't just preparing to be a soldier—he was preparing to be a leader.
