The Betrayal in the Land of Iron 2

The ruined village trembled as Tobirama Senju raised his hands into a single tiger seal.

"Suiton: Suiryūdan no Jutsu!" (Water Style: Water Dragon Bullet Technique)

A massive dragon of water roared to life, coiling through the air before surging toward the two golden-clad warriors. The pressure alone split the ground, sending debris flying.

Kinkaku sneered. "Pathetic!"

With a single motion, he swung the Kōkinjō (Golden Canopy Rope) through the water, disrupting the dragon's form before it could land a solid hit.

But Tobirama was already forming another seal.

"Suiton: Suidanha!" (Water Severing Wave)

A razor-sharp stream of water shot forward like a blade, aimed directly at Ginkaku's neck.

Ginkaku barely had time to react—

He swung the Benihisago (Crimson Gourd) forward, and in an instant, the technique was absorbed into the artifact.

Tobirama's eyes narrowed.

"They're using those tools well… too well."

The brothers rushed forward, their speed blinding. Kinkaku's club came down in a brutal arc, and Tobirama barely twisted in time—

BOOM!

The shockwave blasted the area apart, and Tobirama flipped mid-air, landing a short distance away.

Before he could regain his footing, Ginkaku appeared at his side, slashing with his golden claws.

Tobirama parried with Raijin no Ken, twisting his wrist to divert the attack, but Kinkaku came from the opposite side, swinging his massive club with brute force.

"You're getting slower, old man!" Kinkaku mocked.

Tobirama's fingers twitched.

"Hiraishin—"

Before he could teleport away, Ginkaku's Shichiseiken (Seven Star Sword) slashed through the air, cutting into Tobirama's cloak and drawing blood.

The blade glowed ominously.

"Your name has been cut," Ginkaku grinned. "Say one more word, and you're done for."

Tobirama clicked his tongue. That sword was troublesome.

Kinkaku rushed in again, swinging his club—

This time, Tobirama didn't evade.

He caught the club mid-swing with his bare hand.

"?!?!"

Kinkaku's eyes widened as a surge of chakra pulsed through Tobirama's palm, freezing the club in place.

Then—

BOOM!

Tobirama unleashed a point-blank water shockwave, sending both brothers skidding back.

He exhaled.

The battle was dragging too long.

The Six Paths Tools were proving difficult to counter. He needed to change tactics.

The brothers grinned.

"What's wrong, Hokage? Getting tired?"

Tobirama lifted his sword, blood dripping from his sleeve.

"No. Just warming up."

And with that, he vanished.

The moonlight barely pierced through the thick canopy as Tobirama Senju and his disciples dashed through the dense forest, their footsteps light but urgent. They had escaped the sealing formation—but the danger wasn't over.

A faint whistle cut through the air.

"Move!"

Tobirama barely had time to bark the order before a barrage of kunai and explosive tags rained down from above.

BOOM!

The jungle erupted in a series of violent explosions, sending debris and flames into the sky.

As the dust settled, thirty figures emerged from the darknessthe rest of the Ginkaku Squad, Kumogakure's elite black ops.

Tobirama's scarlet eyes swept over them.

"They were waiting for us."

One of his disciples, Utatane Koharu, cursed under her breath. "This was a trap from the start."

Shimura Danzō, clutching his bleeding arm, hissed, "What now, sensei?"

The enemy formed a tight semicircle, cutting off any direct escape route. The leader, a scarred veteran with Kumogakure's white lightning chakra cloak, stepped forward.

"Lord Second… You should've died back there."

Tobirama exhaled. "And yet, here I stand."

A tense silence.

Then—

"Attack!"

The Kumo elites vanished in a blur, their Raiton-enhanced bodies moving like lightning.

Tobirama whipped his sword up, deflecting the first strike, while his disciples engaged the onslaught.

The Battle Unfolds

Sarutobi Hiruzen flipped mid-air, unleashing a fireball the size of a house—only for a Kumo shinobi to slice through it with a lightning blade.

Mitokado Homura was forced on the defensive, blocking kunai and shuriken with his wind-enhanced tanto.

Koharu parried a lightning-coated spear, barely managing to hold her ground.

Danzō, despite his injuries, unleashed a barrage of wind-style vacuum bullets, taking down one of the attackers.

Tobirama moved like a storm, his Thunder Sword carving through enemies while his Suiton techniques drowned the battlefield in chaos.

He cut down three enemies in an instant, but more kept coming.

"There's too many!" Koharu yelled.

Tobirama's mind raced. They couldn't win a prolonged battle. There was only one option.

His grip tightened on his blade.

"…I will stay behind."

The disciples froze.

"Sensei, no—!" Hiruzen started, but Tobirama silenced him with a glare.

"This is an order."

The Ginkaku Squad surrounded them completely. There was no hesitation in their eyes. They were ready to kill a Hokage.

Tobirama lifted his hand, and in a single motion—

—he teleported them all away.

The disciples vanished in a flash of light.

And Tobirama stood alone.

Surrounded by thirty of Kumogakure's finest.

The Second Hokage exhaled and raised his blade.

"Shall we begin?"
