There is this belief that people who enter the Enchanted Forest never return alive or return changed. This has been the reason why nearby villages do not allow their children to go into the deep bushes around them. Only strong hunters and warriors were allowed into the forest. The enchanted forest is a magical woodland that feels alive and ancient.
The air is eerily quiet, filled with distant whispers, fallen leaves, and unseen footsteps. The trees seem aware of every footstep, bending slightly and rustling without wind. With echoing voices and moving shadows. Most supernatural creatures were cursed and some were not normal werewolves.
A few nights after the full moon, some travelers who were going for research in the enchanted forest arrived at a small village. Deep and thick bushes occupied mostly, part of the village. These bushes are where supernatural creatures inhabit. Most people who lived very close to the bushes went for extinction. Because they often were attacked by werewolves and some unseen creatures, especially in the night middle of the night. On a full moon, when most werewolves transform into monsters, their senses heighten, and their strength increases. This would trigger the wolves to attack the neighboring villages and kill them.
The travelers were warned by the villagers not to enter the forbidden forest. They were told the stories of those who went into the enchanted forest and never returned. The villagers' cautionary tales about the Enchanted forest fell on deaf ears; the travelers were too stubborn to heed them. When they got deeper into the enchanted Forest, they began to feel the presence of different unseen creatures. One of the travelers whispered fearfully, the path had been clear just moments ago. Now, the trees stood too close, their twisted branches clawing at the sky. The travelers halted, their breath fogging in the sudden chill.
"We were following the road," one of them murmured. But the road was gone, swallowed by a forest that seemed to shift when we weren't looking. What are we up to? Another traveler added. We're not halfway yet. Don't you think we need to go back? This forest looks strange and fearful. Just imagine how the path we followed just varnished in the shadow. I think we've lost our way. This path won't lead us to our destination; let's go back, guys! He halted! Turned toward the other travelers and finally turned back. What do you guys suggest? He added. We were warned by the villagers, but their warning fell on deaf ears, another traveler added.
This forest is scary, full of fallen leaves and gnarled roots, shattered bones and claws. Everywhere is silent but only broken by the tiny voice of the unseen creatures. I don't think this mission will be accomplished. Don't be afraid! We will complete this mission and go back home victoriously! The former traveler added. Let's continue, he grumbled. They all turned and continued the journey.
Just a few steps away from their previous location. The voice of an unseen creature resounded in the human voice." Welcome to the enchanted forest, "No one who enters this forest returns the same," the voice muttered, clearly above a whisper. The travelers exchanged uneasy glances but said nothing. The road ahead was supposed to be the fastest route, and they had no time for old legends.
At first, the travelers passed between two twisted ancient trees, and the tree's bark split open like a hungry mouth, its roots slithered and pulled the travelers in. They were trapped in darkness, unable to move, feeling the slow pulse of the ancient wood around them. The sunlight thinned, and the silence grew thick—too thick. The villagers had warned them, but warnings were for the fearful.
A few hours later, the ancient tree's bark slit opened to release them. Their bodies felt stiff and their muscles were as if they were eerily entrapped. They were shivering. The roots of the trees anchored them to the forest floor for some minutes.
A Few minutes later, one of the travelers shouted angrily! Why do I feel different? Why did it take us? What just happened to us? Are we dreaming or is it a reality? We are on our way to death, he added.
This journey was to be a shortcut, but it seems the shortcut wants to cut our lives short. We're already halfway, whatever the outcome is, we will bear it. Let's keep moving, another traveler added. The other travelers exchanged a glance and waited for him to move to the front, and they followed him in a hesitant step, Pausing frequently, constantly darting around and scanning for danger. Their shoulders raised, muscles tight, ready to run.
Suddenly, They heard a deep, rumbling growl through the trees, this was a clear sign of aggression. The growl rises and falls. This is the sound of a wolf. One of the travelers fearfully whispered. They halted and dashed. The wolf moved through the narrow path without making a sound, watching their movements. The wolf moved speedily after them, jumped onto one of the traveler's back, and used its weight to force him to the ground. He used his claws to tear his skin into sheets. The wolf jumped up aggressively and ran after the two other travelers, increasing its step to catch up with them.
The wolf grabbed them by the cloth and tore their clothes with its claws. Jumped onto them and pulled them to the ground. One of the travelers managed to escape the scene. Even though he was bitten in the arms by the wolves, he ran back to the village as the other traveler and the wolf struggled on the ground.
He dashed through the forest back to the village. He ran to the old man's house, who warned them not to go into the enchanted fore and fell to the ground, shouting for help. He told the old man to take him to a healer. The old man at first didn't give him listening ears, but when he saw that the wound on his arms burned unnaturally. He decided to offer him help. But he asked the travelers what happened to his co-travelers and he told the old man that they were bitten to death by the wolf. He told him that he was also bitten but he managed to escape the scene. The old man quickly took him to the shaman.
