Tessy's arrival in the hollow pack was one of the prophecies of the old man that she would reclaim her position as the Luna of her pack, but a twist occurred. She was meant to reclaim the strength of her pack but unfortunately, she didn't meet a single wolf in her formal pack. Elias' mission to rescue her from the Hunter wolves was accomplished, but tension set as she arrived at the hollow pack. Because humans found amid wolves are considered a threat, it is forbidden for a mutual relationship to exist between wolves and a human.
The pack will determine whether to keep or kill Tessy. Even though it has been prophecized that she will reclaim her pack.
Remus and his pack members thought Tessy was just a human. They never knew she had once dominated as a wolf but fate changed her nature to a human.
They were interested in debating whether she would stay or leave.
Remus will summon the pack council chamber to debate Tessy's Fate in the hollow pack. If the debate favors her, she will stay, but if it goes against her, she will leave the pack.
One faithful noon, the Hollow Pack's council chamber had gathered, buzzing with murmurs, the tension thick in the flickering torchlight. The great stone hall smelled of damp earth and aged timber, a reminder of their ancient roots. In a half-circle, the pack's members sat, their faces a mix of curiosity, apprehension, and hostility.
At the center which was bound by silver chains, knelt Tessy. Her face was frightened, and her eyes burned with defiance. She was filled with mixed feelings about whether she would be chased from the pack or retained. There she knelt, she remembered her encounter at the entrance of the pack and her struggle to advent deeper into the forest. If I'm thrown out of this pack, what will be my fate? Where will I go? What will I tell my people as my story? The gods of my land and the forest which I have stepped into please save me. If I wasn't called by a voice to reclaim my position, I wouldn't leave my comfort zone. Please save me!
Tessy muttered as she squeezed her left finger against the right.
Remus, the alpha, stood before them, his dark eyes scanning each face. He had fought tirelessly for the Hollow Pack's survival, yet now, he faced an entirely different challenge. Tessy, human by birth but touched by something greater, had disrupted the natural order. She had survived the trials of the enchanted forest, resisted the pack's will, and worst of all, captured Elias.
"She does not belong here," snarled a voice, the voice sounded like an old man's voice. Echoing through the wall of the great stone hall "Humans are weak. They are prey. If we keep her, we risk exposing ourselves to their world. The rival packs will see her as a sign of our weakness."
Murmurs of agreement rippled through the chamber. The Hollow Pack had survived for centuries by remaining hidden, strong, and united. To harbor a human—especially one of royal blood—was dangerous. It defied their traditions.
"She is not just human," Elias countered, his voice firm but controlled. "The forest accepted her. She survived where others perished. If she were only human, she would have died long before I found her."
"Perhaps she is something worse," came the icy voice of Lenora, the mistress of the pack. She had taken command, her gaze was sharp and calculating. " This is an omen. A curse. The forest's magic is changing. Her presence might ruin the pack."
Tessy, silent until now, lifted her chin. Her voice, though soft, carried through the hall. "I did not ask to be here, but I will not beg for my life. If you believe I am a threat, then end it now. But know this—your fear of me is misplaced. You fear change, not me.
A sudden silence fell over the chamber. Some spoke against her audacity, but others exchanged uneasy glances. She was not crouching in fear as a human should. She was not weeping as a captive would. Instead, she was challenging them, daring them to question their beliefs.
Remus turned to the pack. "If we kill her, we do what our enemies expect. We prove we are nothing more than beasts. If we keep her, we risk the unknown, yes, but we also gain the potential for something new. Something greater."
Revanna stood up and hesitated before stepping forward. "She is different. But different does not always mean danger."
Lenora challenged. "And what if the humans come for her? What if her kind discovers our existence?"
Tessy's gaze did not waver. "No one knows I am here. And even if they did, I would not lead them to you."
Silence stretched between them all. The weight of the decision pressed heavily on the pack. Keep her and risk defying centuries of instinct and law? Or end her life and eliminate the uncertainty she represented?
Finally, Remus spoke, his voice like the quiet rumble of distant thunder. "She stays."
Lenora tried to protest, but he silenced her with a single raised hand. "She will be watched. She will prove herself. If she poses a danger, I will be the first to end it."
Tessy met his gaze, and for a brief moment, something unspoken passed between them. A promise, a challenge, perhaps even something deeper.
The Hollow Pack had made its decision, but the storm it would bring had only just begun.
Do you think Princess Tessy will prove herself before the pack, or will she be evicted from the pack because of the ancient tradition of the pack?
