The End of a Tyrant

Chapter 49: The End of a Tyrant

Kim Han's breath was ragged, blood soaking his clothes. His muscles screamed, but his eyes never wavered. Tenshi stood across from him, panting, his once-pristine robes now shredded and stained with crimson.

They were reaching their limits.

But neither would fall.

Not yet.

Tenshi wiped the blood from his mouth and chuckled. "You're tougher than I thought. But you can't beat me."

Kim Han rolled his shoulder, gripping his sword tighter. "Then why are you shaking?"

Tenshi's smirk twitched, his fury spiking. With a roar, he dashed forward, his blade aimed straight for Kim Han's heart.

Time slowed.

Kim Han exhaled, his world narrowing to this single moment. His past, his pain, his rage—it all came to a single point.

He dodged at the last second, twisting past Tenshi's strike. His sword flashed downward in one clean motion.

A deep gash tore through Tenshi's chest.

Tenshi staggered, choking, blood pouring from his mouth. His sword slipped from his grasp, clattering against the stone.

Kim Han loomed over him, his expression unreadable. "This is for everything you took from me."

Tenshi gasped, a broken laugh escaping his lips. "You think… this changes anything?"

Kim Han didn't answer.

He raised his sword—and drove it straight through Tenshi's heart.

Tenshi's eyes widened. He coughed once, then twice. And then, with a final, cruel smile, he whispered:

"I will return… again… for all of you."

His laughter echoed, even as the light faded from his eyes.

Kim Han ripped his sword free, letting Tenshi's body slump to the ground. The battlefield fell silent.

It was over.

The war had ended.

And Kim Han… had won.
